Seeing TV For the first time

This TV has a picture with the quality of plasma. It has super BLACKS - that's the key thing to look for in an LCD TV. The LED's are the light source for this TV and they dim down much lower than the florescent light of plain LCD screens - giving you true BLACKS. We have dish TV and the picture is life-like. This LG allows me to get the television service that I am paying for.

I Purchased this TV over a year ago. I don't believe in writing reviews until you've had a product for awhile. Anyway, the picture quality is amazing, as well as all the features. I have more than enough inputs to match my home theater set-up, plus 2 game consoles and I use the USB slots for pictures, music, and downloaded video. It's really fantastic. I wish the design was a little more edgy instead of rounded and less glossy. Glare resistance could be better as well, but overall a stunning T.V. that I have had ZERO issues with over the past year.

I bought this TV almost a year ago and it works perfectly. Great picture and great sound. I love watching sports in HD as it feels like I'm almost there. I would definitely recommend this TV for a sports enthusiast or for people who like to watch crystal clear TV!

This is the best TV money can buy. The picture is amassing, the sound will blow you away, and its so easy to set up and use anyone could do it. I would have to say it is equal parts of quality, features, performance, style, and value. I did my homework and I'm glad I did. You cant go wrong with this product. Thank you LG for making it : )

This is the clearest television I ever purchased in my life! It is not a 3D television yet when my friends come over they ask because the picture is so clear and it appears the people are talking right in front of you. I love the fact there are several HDMI ports for my PS3, Blu Ray, and cable box. I love how there is an energy saving feature where if you forget to turn it off after shutting off your cable box it turns off automatically. I love the fact that the television was extremely affordable. Setting up the television was 1-2-3. I rarely use any of the widgets that come with the television but when I did, It was the weather widget and some sort of game. They were easy to use. I believe you had to connect your television to the internet to be able to use them. Lastly, a couple weeks after I purchased the television there was an update for it and I updated my TV right away. This is a great television and I recommend it to everyone!

Bought the 42" a month previous to this one and was amazed at the clarity and ease of use, so I decided to buy the 47" in addition and what a surprise, awesome TV, HD has never looked better, thanks LG for making such a great product.

This has been an excellent HD television. Everything has worked flawless. Easy set-up with all the cables you'll need plus more. I'm really getting a lot of use out of all the inputs. The USB inputs on the side are so handy for pictures. When connected to the internet, firmware updates are seamless. The NetCast (eg You-tube) capability provides almost endless viewing possibilities. I can even ebay right from my living room tv using the online widgets. I wanted to wall mount this and almost did but the room just didn't fit it right. This TV in our living room was a BIG worry at first due to tipping over (two kids under 5), but it been very sturdy once in its place. This tv has not let me down yet, and I would highly recommend it
