I've had this model doe three years now, and the pictue seems as crisp and bright as when I first purchased it new. LIFE IS GOOD!

So far I couldn't be happier.
The quality is amazing.
The first show I watched was Lost.
Within a couple of minutes, I was thinking to myself that the episode must have been filmed differently. Then I realized it was that the TV was presenting a picture that was so improved over what I was used to that it just looked that way.

I'd compare it to looking out a window vs watching a TV.

Originally I purchased the LG47LD520 to replace a Samsung that had been damaged by my kid; however, I changed my mind, returned the unopened LD520 and decided to buy an LED TV instead. I had to balance price with quality and features.
I chose the 47LE5400 because the picture quality just blew me away. It was very easy to setup and connect to my home AV system. The advance picture feature makes it a snap to adjust the picture to your liking. My wife said the picture is so realistic that it looks like you're looking through a window. Besides the beautiful picture, the ultra thin design give it the "Cool" factor.
The only down side, and this is true of all ultra thin televisions today is the weak sounding speakers; however if you're going to spend that much money for a TV, then you should connect it to either a home AV system or sound bar. If you can't afford the INFINIA system you can't go wrong selecting the LE5400 series set.

We finally traded up from a smaller flat screen to this 47" unit. The picture, features and easy of operation are great. We ran the sound through our Bose audio system, and it sounds super. At some point I am sure we will figure out all the other things we can do with the unit. I love how thin it is and how easy it was to set up. It makes watching TV a much more enjoyable experience. Great product.

Very Nice quality/features. It's great being able to play avi files right off an external HD without a pc. The HD quality picture is exceptional I can't detect any motion blur at all.

This TV is easy to use with all the features being available with easy access. The picture quality is excellent, and it is the perfect size screen for my bedroom. A GREAT value for the price!

This Tv rocks! price, quality, and all features included are totally awesome, after 2 months no problems so far and the online firmwares keep the Tv up to date ... this LED-LCD tv its a charm !

Everything is great with the TV with 1 exception. There is only 1 audio out on the TV and I need 2. This is not LG's fault but mine. I assumed that the TV would have the same amount of connections as my old TV so I never looked at the jacks on the TV. I have found a work around and now everything is great.
