We were in the market for a new TV. Having had our old one for about 17 years. This was a very large purchase for us since we wanted this one to last as long as our other. So far we have been very happy. The clarity of picture is great. It was fast and easy to set up except for a few glitches. It even lowers the "noise" of commercials. YAY

I'm really happy with what I've experienced in the first (yes the first) day of owning my LG 42" LED/LCD TV. really nice, so far. I only have one issue, and that is that the TV dies not have any analog outputs. When you've got a $5,000 stereo setup that you've used for years with past televisions to pipe TV sound, as well as the music you get from your provider, into the ceiling speakers in every room of the house, it's frustrating to have to chnange all of that to get access to the optical sound ouput that this TV offers. I couldn't believe it when if fished around behind the TV and with all the connections there wasn't one analog output for a stereo. I even called the support number, which by the way was quickly answered, and well handled, but they confirmed the lack of an analog output... rats. But the image quality is nice.

Great TV

I purchased this TV to replace my old LG. It was a great choice at the right price. Has all the features of my old LG plus a lot of new features that not only I love but my whole family loves.

I have recently purchased the LCD 47 LE television & it is the best television I have ever owned. I have also previously purchased an LG washing machine which is why I trust your product. The quality of your products is second to none. The picture quality is the best I found during my search. I will strongly recommend LG to everyone I know.

We purchased the LG in time for Thanksgiving gatherings and loved the quality of the viewing for the parades for the kids and the football for the rest of us.
