Cooking With Gas!

We just converted to gas this summer and wanted to get back to a gas range for a better cooking option. This range is hands down the best non-commercial range on the market today. It is made solid and has performed well with all stove top or oven foods. The griddle is a great feature to quickly cook up a grilled sandwich or a batch of pancakes without taking out any additional pans! Couldn't be happier with our selection of this LG stove.

Very Impressive Looking

I really didn't think that a range could make my kitchen looks so updated, but it does. I love the middle burner for the griddle pan. The knobs are large and professional looking. I do have to clean the stove top more than I thought because it's black and you can see dust and food easier. Also, I made a mistake and put foil on the bottom of the oven, between the vents. I've done this with all my ovens, DO NOT DO THIS! The foil will melt on the bottom! Overall, I love this range!

WELL WHERE DO I BEGIN ! I BOUGHT THE STOVE 7 MONTHS AGO FROM SEARS . I WAS DRAWN TO THE COMMERCIAL STAINLESS STEEL LOOK AND I THOUGHT LG WAS A GOOD PRODUCT , BOY WAS I WRONG ! THE STAINLESS STEEL IS RUSTING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE STOVE AND ALSO THE OVEN FLOOR HAS CRACKED AND IS ALSO RUSTED !!! WHAT KIND OF QUALITY IS THIS ! AND THE BEST PART IS THAT LG WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE RUSTING ON THE EXTERIOR ! ITS COSMETIC THEY CLAIM ! MY SISTER HAS HAD HER STAINLESS STEEL STOVE MADE BY SEARS FOR 5 YRS NO RUST ! careful of center burner

we purchased this unit because of the oval center burner only to learn later this is made to be a warming burner not for actual cooking. the unit is well built, but do not buy this if the main reason is the center griddle. I guess we should have researched this online before purchase. LG needs to clearly advertise the center burner is only 8000 BTU , needs to be changed to 10000 plus to be a great product. LG customer service said it is made for vegetables, grilled sandwiches and pancakes- which it does cook- if you have the time :)

Excellent cooking; terrible stove top

The oven is about two years ago. It cooks beautifully and the blue interior cleans nicely. BUT the stove top wears badly -- the oven looks as if it is 15 years old. The enamel is fragile, the gratings are worn, and the gas plates very difficult to clean. I had bought this oven knowing I would be remodeling my kitchen and expecting to keep it. My designer calls it an eyesore and I completely agree. Choose a stainless steel top!

What an awesome range

This range looks like it belongs in a restaurant kitchen as it has a professional look & feel. The knobs have been re-designed by LG and no longer have the plastic inserts that have been discussed in other reviews. They also started including the griddle pan again. The grates are heavy duty and the various burners work great. We've only used the oven a few times so far and it baked perfectly. We love the fact that the display shows the exact temp the oven is at as it goes thru it's pre-heat cycle.
This model definitely has the "WOW" factor.

Looks awesome! No broil with warm oven???? How do you melt your cheese on top of your pizza??? Insane that you can not use broil at any time!!! Oven is out of control!! Will heat up 100-150 degrees past setting after 20-30 minutes. Tried adjusting temp per manual. Does not help!!!! Stay away from this product.
