Best stove I ever had

I've had mine for two years, and I've never regretted it. I see a lot of complaints here about flimsy knobs, but mine are very solid so maybe LG has corrected that problem for newer models. The griddle does take at least five minutes to heat up enough, but you'd want to give that much time to ANY heavy, thick metal item such as a cast-iron pan.
My reason for reviewing is to pass on a tip: The black enameled top was initially hard to keep clean because it always seemed smeary, but then I discovered that I can use whatever spray cleaner I want, get it as clean as I want and THEN give it a once-over with a wipe designed for stainless steel. No streaks, no smudges.
Pros: Style/Design

What was I thinking buying stainless and black

I really like this stove as far as the features go. It cooks well and soon I will actually read the book to find out all the features it has. My big question to myself was "what were you thinking?? a black top???" Geez this color shows dust so you can imagine what grease or spills looks like. I must have been off my meds. I have found the best thing to do is to leave off the hood light so you can't see anything. Where can I get a cover for this??? Only 10-15 more years until I can justify buying another color. Yea!
Pros: easy to use

Love everything about it

My stove was over 19 years old, been looking for a stove to replace it, I love everything about this stove, had to get used to the convection oven, it does cook food faster and at a lower temp. the first batch of cookies I over cooked but the rest came out great, my kids love cooking on the griddle making pancakes and also making grilled cheese. I am so happy about everything this has to offer, Would I purchase it again YES I would.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Great Product...sorta

I love LG products. We have several and recently purchased a range (LRG3093). The primary burners work great but the center burner is a real disppointment. The center burner will never get hot enough or provide a cooking tempature high enough to use it with a griddle. Not even pancakes let alone burgers or steaks. THIS WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! and makes this burner pretty much useless and certainly not worth the extra expense. Also the black coating around the burners will never get really clean or shiny once you use the range a few times. Next time I will know to buy only stainless steel if I want my stove to look clean and forgo the center burner.
Pros: Style/Design

PANCAKES ANYONE?

This range is sick! Not only does it look so sleek and sexy, it has some powerful burners to back it up!The 5 burner Gas range has a Power burner, regular burner, an oval shaped middle burner for big pots or for adding a griddle on top for pancakes and such, a Simmer burner, and a Power Plus Burner , which in its name is self explanatory. The oven has a beautiful blue interior. It has self cleaning, baking, broiling, and warming options. There is also a storage drawer at the bottom to hold pans, you can never have enough storage space. Of course the standards like oven light and timer start are there. The cook time is really great... preheats the oven to the exact temperature and therefore cooks food faster and saves time and money. Great buy!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, the middle oval shaped burner for griddle use.

OK, I did not need a new stove but I did need a new fridge and dishwasher, and I wanted stainless steel. That left a very nice white on white stove to deal with. I bit the bullet and bought the matching stove and OMG what a great decision. I LOVE IT. It looks awesome and cooks every better. Love the fifth burner and all the high intensity flame options offered. The oven heats up fast and cooks to perfection. ( I will hate it when my first real spill in the over occurs because the blue interior is so beautiful.

Outstanding performance

Found oven cooked evenly and temperature controls were accurate. Previous oven not LG was unpredictable and either did not cook foods thoroughly or burned them. This range is easy to clean and an attractive addition to the kitchen. I would highly recommend this product.

Worst stove I ever had
on December 15, 2015

Terrible stove, I regret buying it everyday. The power burner is useless, it takes forever to boil a large pot of water for pasta, so annoying. I'm looking online now to see if there's a way to adjust the flame higher without blowing my house up. The center burner does nothing but keep things warm. Why?? Who decided that actually using it to grill food is unnecessary? Also, keeping the top clean is a constant challenge if you actually cook on it, who needs to spend so much time polishing it every time you use it? The back of the stove juts out so that you cannot center a larger pot on the simmer burner, which is an issue when making soups or stews. The simmer burner cooks too fast even when turned all the way down, you can't really slow simmer anything without keeping a very close eye on it. The only people I would recommend this stove to would be those that don't cook.
