Absolutely brilliant color, clarity, and styling. 2D is unlike any I've seen!!! 3D is fantastic

PN63C8000YF Defective Screen after two weeks

After waiting over 30 days to get this TV because it was backorder from samsung. I finally began to enjoy this flagship Plasma 3D TV (pn63c8000yf). I loved the 3D quality, Internet connectivity with widgets and apps. Plenty of HDMI inputs & 2 USB ports. Only one AV and composite connection. But for best picture you want HDMI.
However, two weeks later, THE SCREEN WENT DEAD!!! I only get audio. I just hope Samsung will live up to its reputation and give me a replacement TV and not just send someone to repair it. I expect superior customer service to be delivered. I'm holding my breath and hope not to turn blue while waiting. Those who have purchased one without issues. God bless you! So until I hear from Samsung or my dealer I get to stare at a 63", 85 lbs dark frame on my wall.

Great TV other than buzzing, very annoying

Got this set after reading all the great reviews. I was however concerned about the possibility of getting the buzzing noise from the set that others have mentioned. I should have listened to my head rather than trying to get the set at the cheapest possible price and bought it from a local as opposed to online retailer ... as i have indeed unfortuantely got the buzzing noise and it is quite intrusive, depending on where I sit in the room in front of the set and the angle of my head! Had I bought it locally, I would have returned it. I am not sure if I would then have tried the same model (because everything else on it is tremendous) one or a different brand.
Cons: buzzing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've owned this tv for about a month now and all I can say is WOW! I have absolutely no buzzing noise at all. The mfg. date code is 7/31/2010. The picture quality is stunning. All of the colors appear to be very accurate. The 3D is very good as well. I haven't had time to really get into the web features yet and I haven't tried the 2D to3D conversion yet. I bought this tv based on it's 2D abilities. Buy this tv, you won't be disappointed.
Pros: Realistic color, good build quality

great picture and features

The picture is very good even in a bright room. I have a very bright room and if you use the dynamic setting during the day. The picture is almost as bright as an led in dynamic mode but without washing out of the colors as in the led. The 3d is nice but there is not enough content out there to make good use out of it, plus the price of the glasses makes inviting people over to watch very expensive. Overall the picture is one of the best I`ve seen , watching sports on this set is a joy.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, great picture, price and picture better than led
Cons: high price of 3d glasses

all hands down - this t.v. is absolutely the best! Great - no excellent picture quality. I love the soap opera look of the picture.
