Beautiful tv, but still buzzes

Initially I was blown away by the beauty of this 63 inch monster plasma. Gorgeous picture and design, kudos to Samsung. However, be careful as the buzzing may be distracting. I believe it to be less than 2009 models, but during quiet moments in movies, I found it distracting. Note though that wall mounting will correct this as will seating one seat cushion over on the couch. Standing up also made the buzz disappear, it simply affected the primary, straight on seat position. Definitely quieter than a refrigerator or computer fan, but I am able to adjust to a fan, but not a buzz.
I HAD THE TV FOR 3 WEEKS AND THE SCREEN WENT BLANK AND DIED. BEFORE THIS I ONLY BOUGHT PANASONIC AND NEVER EVER HAD A PROBLEM. I HAVE PURCHASED 10 PANY PLASMAS FOR MYSELF, FRIENDS AND EMPLOYEES SINCE THEY CAME OUT AND NEVER EVER HAD AN ISSUE. THIS 63 INCH 3D SAMSUNG RATED HIGH SO I GAVE IT A SHOT AND IT SHOT ME.....TERRIBLE
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, died
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pros: - Amazing picture - Love the internet apps - 3D support
Cons: - Incessant, loud buzzing; I can hear it from 12+ feet away - Blinks (i.e., loses video) for 1-3 seconds intermitently (but at least daily)
I spent a good chunk of change on this baby and love the picture it delivers. But the buzzing and blinking are completely unacceptable. Hopefully Samsung service can resolve it, replace it or refund it; will update my review once addressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Auto-Motion problem

I am surprised that I am only the third 1-star review because the PN63C8000 has a problem. Ironically, the problem is that the technology in the 8000 Series is ahead of its time. Its refresh rate that is much higher the 60 Hz signal that is cable and satellite broadcast standard in the United States.
The PN63C8000’s high refresh rate is perfect for gaming and for DVD viewing, but not for normal TV viewing. Samsung’s effort to adjust to the standard 60 Hz frequency creates an auto-motion problem. It is an image aberration or wave-effect that is created around moving objects. It is very distracting and, for me, it makes the TV unacceptable.
Over the years I have been very happy with Samsung, but their new products have gotten ahead of the broadcast infrastructure in the United States. If Samsung is able to fix the auto-motion problem; i.e. properly handle 60 Hz signals, then the PN63C8000 would rock. Everything else about it is great.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, auto-motion problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only comment for improvement would be to put the HDMI inputs towards the middle of the screen as most cable holders are in the center of the TV.
For my first bigscreen TV, it is simply AWESOME!! Has worked flawlessly since I received it without any buzzing or any other issues. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, plenty of settings, network capability
Cons: none yet
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT PERFORMANCE GREAT PRICE

I shopped the competition and they just don't compare for the price. The picture is amazing 2d or 3d and the connectivity and apps send it over the top. Have had mine for about six weeks and I'm still amazed at the picture. Black levels are as good as it gets and the colors just pop on this TV compared to the competition. Great job samsung.
Just got it yesterday and spent the entire day setting up with a new console and sound. This set is so true to life that I feel as though I am looking out a window. Two neighbors stopped by to check it out and looked mesmerized when sitting on the couch watching it. They didn't want to leave! I am very pleased. I have not viewed the 3D picture yet because my Direct TV receiver is not 3D compatible and I have no 3D Bluerays. I have a tuner coming in five days and will ad to this feedback when I have the 3D experience with my new set.
