Like others, we did months of research to find the best fit for our family. I felt pretty confident when we decided on the Samsung PN63C8000 3D HDTV... and I now couldnt be more pleased! We have had the TV for about a month now. The picture is awesome... even in our sunny family room... the blacks black... the 3D spectacular... and I love the Apps!! Watching Netflix instant streaming is a breeze! My only negative is why we didnt get this TV months ago! :)
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great TV. Great Price. It was a close race between this TV an another manufacturer, but ultimately I chose the Samsung and have not been disappointed in the least.

Superb picture quality

I love this tv. I have unfortunately had a problem with it already (within 6 months) but it was repaired in 4 days my the Samsung authorized service center. I still havent figured out all the features but I absolutely love this tv. Thanks Samsung.

63" HD 3D 1080P TV

Excellent TV for the money. Easy to set up and connect devices. Speakers leave something to be desired, but did connect my Bose PC speakers to the audio port and is much much better. We haven't used the 3D yet(glasses are expensive), however have run a couple DVDs and they worked great. I would, definitely, recommend this TV to anyone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great look to the unit. Great picture. Strong sound. 3D really works! Wireless internet apps work well and open up options beyond standard television. --- Very happy showing off our Samsung.

Amazing TV! Beautiful Picture

I pretty much went into this purchase only knowing I wanted something big. This large plasma was said to produce a small buzz by many other reviewers. It does!
- most plasmas do, but sitting close enough for that buzz to bother you would be a mistake with this behemoth! I sit about 12 feet away and the picture quality is crystal clear. Not sure about the audio as I am running all my components through a reciever. With extra perks like twitter and facebook, this net-ready TV is perfect for the internet generation. The 3D TV seemed like a bit of a gimmick to me at the time and I didn't even want to consider a 3D TV. After about 10 minutes of a demo, I was sold. Not only does it play true 3D dvd content, but it can playback any HD channel in 3D - which is not true 3D- but still looks pretty cool. I feel like the price was a little high for a plasma, but reasonable for the size/ picture quality of the unit.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars in the performance category is that of course plasma TV's use a little more power than LED or LCD TV's. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and LOVE this TV!

Best TV on the market, 3D and 2D

Recently saw this tv at a famous shootout of the top tvs on the market. Pound for pound, this set was the best.
3D was part of the evaluation and the faster plasma trounced all of the lcd/led based tvs there. You simply get a better 3d picture with little to no double imaging (ghosting).

Only to get a picture even close to this is to spend over 1000 and that TV does not have this set's advance 3D picture features. (2D to 3D conversion)
The black level is incredible, giving a picture that really POPS. I own a Kuro TV and this 8000 plasma is the first tv that I can find that comes close to that level without spending Kuro level prices!
In short there will be a 63c8000 plasma soon replacing my smaller Kuro in my living room.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, awesome black level
Cons: need glasses included!
