There is a lot more room in this unit than my old side by side. large plates are no problem. The sile out shelves actually side, unlike some other brands I looked at.

A little Disappointed

We purchased this refrigerator for a renovated kitchen in our house located at the beach. Liked the way it looked both inside and out. We were especially attracted by its unique slim line ice maker and larger than usual outside water and ice dispenser. We have been using it for almost 5 months.
It has taken us a while to get used to organizing the inside of the refrigerator. Seems like we never have enough room for large/tall bottles. It makes smaller than usual ice cubes. Even when using the ice plus feature, we have to plan ahead or will run out of ice when entertaining which we do often.
Every time we have someone visit we have to show them how the water dispenser on the outside of the door works to avoid having water spray on the floor. This feature works very differently from other refrigerators.
This is our first LG purchase. We hope it lasts many years like most of our appliances do. If we had to buy another refrigerator, I am not sure we would buy this same one due to the reasons mentioned above.

I fell for this great looking refriderator with all the convenience of water and ice in the door.
The functionality of the interior is just what I've been looking for with lots of drawer space for fruits & veggies and seperate meat drawer. The two door top section is big enough for any large platter. I am loving this option.

Great and Stylish Refrigerator

I have always respected LG for their quality products and design. We needed a new refrigerator and wanted one that had more space and made effective use of that space. This model was just the answer to our space problems. Adjustable shelves and a roomy bottom freezer. We knew we could trust LG since we own an LG washer and dryer (WM2277HS & DLG5988S) and have for years. We have had no trouble with any of our LG appliances and will continue to purchase LG products.

I love love love, my LG Fridge. We purchased it in black, as we are going from Stainless to Black appliances. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars it the water dispenser, I love how I can easily fill my pitchers, but feel bad when I tell guests who haven't used it before and they end up looking like they wet themselves.
