LG 3 (french) door refrigerator

I like my new refrigerator very well with two exceptions--
After only two weeks in my home, the picture decals on the ice and the water dispensers were scratched and wearing off. The location of these decals (or the material used) should be changed so that they do not wear off-or at least are protected from scratches from glasswear.
Also, I find that if I do not use the ice dispenser for a while (maybe a week), the ice freezes into a clump and I have to open the refrigerator door, then the ice cube compartment door, and physically break apart the ice with a spoon.

Not worth the high price

Has already broken on me twice in less than a year. What's with the ice maker in the door? There are racks on the inside but you can't fit anything in there! How is it possible that my parents refrigerator that they bought almost 40 years ago has never broken and continues to run and these "new" and "improved" models always break within a few years?
Pros: Style/Design

Been checking out bottom freezers and this looks like it might be the ticket, lots of space in the fridge itself, and the space I need for a freezer. Sharp looking and space utilizes a homemakers wants, the separate meat drawer with just the right temperature is a big plus. The divided crisper is a womans dream on top of the water dispenser ablility to use any size container. All in all attractive to look at!!

LOVE this fridge!

I've had this fridge for 6 months now and I LOVE it. The ice maker in the door gives you so much more room. I like how the fridge beeps when the door has been open too long. I thought it would be hard to bend down to get things out of the bottom drawer freezer but it's not hard at all. There is so much room in there too! I really like the slide out shelf in the freezer that holds the smaller things like frozen veggies and Lean Cuisines. This was the best purchase ever!
Pros: easy to use

We've had this refrigerator for about two months and so far "love it, love it, love it." Best refrigerator we've ever had. Couldn't ask for anything more. It's very spacious and so simple to view everything without having to bend down and search for items. We had just purchased a LG washer and it's the best. We love LG products.

Roomy and beautiful! The interior lighting really gives you a good view of the interior of the upper and lower cabinet. The French drawer is deep with a sliding basket for extra stuff. We really love it!
