My Experience

Was very excited when I opened the box and turned the unit on. Took awhile but finally got the image adjusted to the way I like it. I'm in the electronics biz so I am very picky on how my own display looks. All the apps are cool but a qwerty keyboard for searching on youtube would be much better.
Samsung needs to create an allshare program to work with MAC OS. Using a third party app for streaming from my laptop but its very inconsistent.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: need allshare for mac os

Love the pictuer quality. Love the ability to connect directely to netflick and stream in movies. be better if we did not need pc to put movie in que. maybe a new release will let you do that.
The 3d glasses are not good. hard to tell if you turn them off or not.
The remote control is not good either as it hard to find the butto you need to predd as they are all flat and the light does not stay on long enough. but I seldom use it as I use the remove with my cable box./ Over all the best TV I ever had. I would defintely buy another Samsun when the time come.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: remote control could be better, 3d glasses are not good and to expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

I find this TV a positive viewing experience. My only negatie is that the wifi should be built in and nt require further expense to purchase a Samsung dongle.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, nice 3d package
Cons: no built in wifi

240 Hz Yeah! It's a big Deal ! Smashing 3D

This Television is Awesome and the 3d is great but believe it or not it sollely depends on the source such as the quality of 3D put into the Bluray. If the The Bluray has great 3D then the Glasses do the trick but if the 3D lags so does viewing the image. So please do research and see which movies are worth purchasing. I do wish the remote was not so stiff Samsung should have included the Rmc302 remote with this product Would have Been Perfect.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: does not include rmc302 remote

The Family Perspective

This is my first LED TV. I regard myself as an interested amature. Looks - a personal choice. Given this TV is somewhat different (glass edge and tungsten looking finish) in appearance to most potential buyers should do their homework. Clearly, we like it - modernistic and the nature of the silver surround does not distract from the screen. Some have commented on the remote being difficult to use and I tend to agree. The software used my Samsung, and how the various menus are displayed on the screen, is very intuitive - full marks. However, the remote has an almost touch screen type feel to it - it is not your run of the mill click a button type. The 'buttons' are backlit but distinguishing between them in a dark room is difficult. Not a 'show stopper' just a little frustrating. As for the picture, it is quite simply superb. I have yet to invest in 3D (and will do so when morre products become available) so my comments relate only to 2D. The depth and colour of this picture in comparison to my 2 other HD TVs is readily apparent and significantly better. HD TV broadcasts appear almost 3D like and the clarity is simply breathtaking. That said, I have noticed that with some broadcasts there is a movement aspect that is strange and probably associated with the vaguely nauseous feeling some have reeported on. I am still experimenting with the huge array of settings but have found that turning off the Motion Plus setting remedies this particular issue. As for the other settings, I have moved my TTV around and it appears that the TV location drives what settings you might want to apply - makes sense really. It is possible to while away hours fiddling with setting - believe me I am still investigating - however, I dont think this should scare off the plug and play operator. with perhaps the exception of turning off Motion Plus. I have also noticed an immediate difference to DVD quality. Once I have recovered from this outlay I will certainly be investing in Blu Ray to make the most of the TVs potential. My TV is hooked up through a Bose Lifestyle theater system so I can not comment on the TV's sound. Personal choice, but if you are buying this type of TV I suspect most would also invest in some form of theatre system. Connecting an HDMI v1.4 lead from my Bose to the TV was simple - not in terms of just plugging in but the movement of picture from the various sources that connect in to my Bose (built in DVD, cable and X Box) all brought uppictures straight away - no complicated programming required. I am still waiting for my Samsung wireless adapter to arrive. In the interim, I plugged in one on my existing N adapters. And it worked! Others might want to consider this as an alternative to the Samsung part which appears difficult to get hold of. Using the internet apps is great. However, creating an individual account for each user is tedious in terms of typing in the data. For example, typing in your internet account requires input from the remote. The software provides a telephone type input mechanism - a number and 3 letters to choose from on each 'button'. Moving from number to one of the letters is difficult - I havent worked it out yet! This niggle apart, the internet interface is intuitive. There is a Nov 2010 firmware upgrade which the expert reviews recommend. However, I found that my TV came preloaded with this update. All in all, fantastic picture (albeit I have yet to use Blu Ray and 3D) that is well worth the investment. The internet interoperability is clearly the way forward. The remote is the only niggle that would lead me to reduce this TV from 5 to 4.5 stars.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, stunning picture, easy to assemble
Cons: tricky remote interface

...still haven't found the best settings for the picture quality.
...little disappointed with the jidder effect on 240Hz with some sources and TV stations.
Still, a beautiful TV with a great overall performance.
Pros: Lightweight
