Low Weight Thin Profile Main reasons purchesed

The low weight and extremely thin profile for a 55 inch screen television were my main criteria for making this purchase. I went from a 58 inch plasma that weighed 160 pounds to a 55 inch LED that weighs about 60 pounds dropping a good 100 pounds. Much less nervous having a TV like this on my TV stand than the monster weight TV I had before it.
I am much happier with this television and think it has an excellent picture. If you move frequently this TV is the way to go much easier to lift and carry than the other TVs this screen size.

Better than I could imagine

I bought my 55" LED TV in January- this is SO much better than anything I had before including my 'regular' HD TV's.Everything is so crisp and vibrant. The various features ( which take a while to master - please read manual and mess around) are great. Sport is something else on this TV it's like you are actually there. The World Cup on LED was the only way to go - brilliant
I would recommend this to a friend!

This tv s absolutely amazing! The picture is awesome. The internet tv is amzing as well. I keep finding new things on the tv! We also got a good deal at Best Buy on this tv.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great TV from Samsung

This is an excellent TV set that I ever had. we had this tv for about 2 weeks. Great colors and stylish. There is only thing that I saw so far is when streaming video via Netflix was sometimes interrupted due to the the re-bufferings in the middle of the movie or episodes. I guess that was caused by the network or samsung wireless adaptor...not sure. Overall, it's great and I would recommended to everyone.

I was always a Sony man. After much shopping and viewing tvs in the stores I settled on the Samsung C-8000 55 inch.Very glad I did. All I can say is wow. This is not my first HDTV but by far its the best.I could not be more pleased with the clarity and the brilliance of the picture.Ive since purchased another Samsung TV for my bonus room and the picture is just as great.I would tell anyone that Samsungs picture beats all. they have sure won me over from Sony.

DLNA and Apps put my Home Network to work

This TV connected to my Home Network wirelessly and can see my Network Area Storage where I have most of my media. I play my podcast on the TV now. My wife can "send" videos and photos to the TV from her computer over the network. This really makes it easy to share the high res photos. The apps on the TV will suppliment my recent DVR purchase and allow me to turn in my cable DVR. What a great product!
