I am amazed at the picture. Right out of the box, and after setup, this TV is Awesome! The 1" thin flat screen looks great on the wall in my basement. The colors and blacks, even in a dark basement, are so lifelike. You add the 3D effect and there is no comparison.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is the greatest tv ever got a great buy before superbowl love it love it love it i even sold 2 more for them they were looking at 46 in got 55 3d for 300 more with combo pkg !!!!yeah yeah
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

This TV is absolutely wonderful!!! The picture is crystal clear. I was totally amazed at the quality when I watched a movie made in 2002...it was as if the actors were standing right in my family room. I totally LOVE my TV.

I bought the 55c8000 for its picture quality and overall look, and the tv has not let me down, the picture is so clear and bright it is unbelievable and the 3d feature is a bonus the picture makes you feel like the are coming out of the tv and are there with you in your living room! I love this TV!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, amazing picture quality

the internet connection its poor, you need to put the network cable, if not the connection its lost every 5 seconds.
i don't understand why don't come with the wireless card. maybe Samsung need to put other $50 more on the price of the tv :)

I absolutly love this TV.
The picture quality is great.
The system design is clean.
I get a little confused when trying to use some of the internet apps but that is more of a reflection on my abilities and not on the TV's features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this last year and have loved most of the features. What is lacking are some of the apps. I bought this one hoping to use Netflix but if the video I want to stream is in HD quality, forget it. But this review isn't as much for the apps as it is for the TV.
It is extremely light and the picture quality is amazing! Some of the menu's don't make sense but with some stumbling around you can figure it out. I don't use the 3D feature very often but when I do, it provides an amazing picture and experience.
I did have to have the main mother board replaced (Samsung Warranty) due to it not working very well with digital TV but they sent out a technician and got it all fixed up and it is running great. Do yourself a favor and buy the qwerty remote for this as well, without it you have to type it in rotary telephone style from your remote and it is not fun.
If you buy this get the 3D Blueray system as well. It has a wireless module to connect to the internet (the TV requires an additional module anyway) and upgrades 2D DVD's to 3D on demand! My father has a different brand and has to wait 2 or more minutes for it to open once it is powered on and another couple of minutes once the DVD is in before it will begin playing. This one is almost instant. Amazing!
I would purchase one of these again! Great picture and sound quality, amazing response time, very narrow and hardly produces any heat.

The picture is awesome and the #D capabilities are very good. not as good as the movie theatre, but pretty darn close. Now I wear glasses and I know that can effect the 3D image. Pretty nice playing Call of Duty or other Video games on such a large screen. I highly recommend this TV. I bought a wall display and had it Calibrated and that made a load of difference.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: with 4 hdmi ports i still needed one more go figur
