JUST AMAZING

its a really great tv, the picture is beautiful, i keep hearing that the software upgrade messes up the tv but i haven't had an issue with yet ( you will need the wireless adapter to do this )
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: too expensive

Absolutely Amazing TV

My wife and I were looking for a new main TV for our home. We have a 40" Samsung LCD but we wanted a larger 55" set.The UN55C8000 fit the bill perfectly. The picture is absolutely amazing in all lighting conditions and the 240Hz refresh rate makes watching football great. We were a bit skeptical about the 3D as our only experience with that was with the old two color glasses. When we played 3D movies on this TV we were absolutely blown away. We are totally glad we purchased this TV and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no volume control for headphones

Outstanidng pictures, particularly in 2D

This TV has lived up to the quality and performance we viewed at the store. The primary reason we purchased the product was for the outstanding 2D picture quality and it has lived up to our expectations. 3D is great and works much better than anticipated, particularly for a production that is designed to fully leverage 3D viewing. The glasses are a bit of a nuisance but haven't prevent watching a good bit of 3D as offered by DirecTV.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, lower power consumption

Purchased this Television in November after reviewing all the major 3D TV's. Samsung had more features that we were looking for and a better reputation. The TV from the moment was unpacked and installed, which we did ourselves, has exceeded what we expected. Would highly recommend this product to anyone.

After owning this set for over 4 weeks, I can't be more happy with the decision I made to purchase this Samsung. 3D is very cool and the thin design is outstanding. The Internet TV interface is another feature that I fully enjoy.

This is an awesome TV! Watching 3d movies at home is an unbelievable experience. The pictures are bright, crisp and clear. It is a beautiful TV and has a beautiful picture!

Great picture, love the viewing angle. Both 2D and 3D pictures are amazing.
My only complaint would be that the component and composite adapter cables are not included with the TV and were out of stock when I ordered them.

Picture is basically flawless. Only issue has been with XBOX360 and some blurring on quick moving imagery; even with dynamic and picture smoothing, there are still some areas where the screen appears to not keep up.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: some unexpected blurring on xbox360
