Great Picture No universial remote

Tv is great. and works great with other samsung products but you can not control cable box and other non Samsung products. 3D Works ok depends on movie. Glasses get to be a little annoying. 3D better in low lighting.
Pros: great picture
Cons: no universial remote
I would recommend this to a friend!

Top of the line HDTV

My wife and I were not looking for specifically a 3D TV, but instead a 55" TV that looked great under normal (non-3d glasses) conditions. I had always been a Sony guy, but after comparing the quality (the bezel on this is brushed stainless), picture (the specs blow away the Bravia), and beauty (wife factor) to the Samsung 8000, the sammy won. The DLNA (wireless connectivity via the USB Dongle) works great, and so does the Widgets (like weather, msnbc feeds, etc.) Had the TV hung on the tilting wall mount within 1 hr. Teamed up with a Bose T20 Lifestyle and Samsung 3d Blu-Ray player. Only con so far is the remote, as it does not handle my DirecTV, Bose.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, beautiful bezel
Cons: expensive, remote

The TV is great!
Only 2 Items that need to be addressed
The Samsung symbol is really bright is there a way to turn it down?
The remote is nice but the only problem is the plus and minus key for Volume don't light up. Is this normal or is the remote defective?
Other than that the TV is excellant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Super Great TV of it's kind. Picture & sound is clear as a bell, with terrific personal adjustment features. Be sure to use HDMI connections HDTV services for the very best viewing. Worth the money, but suggest looking for best bundle deals available. You will love it!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to setup

Everything is great! The only one thing I can add is that getting a soundbar would be a nice addition to this TV.

The more I learn about the many features, the more I like this TV. My kids and friends are just blown away when playing video games or watching a movie.

The picture is sharper and brighter than anything I've seen, even from a severe angle of view. We also have a Samsung Blu-Ray player paired with the TV and the funtionality/communication between the two is awesome. I can operate both with one remote even though the Blu-Ray player is relatively enclosed in the entertainment center.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
