Love this TV

We bought this TV to replace our 36" Toshiba Tube TV for our bedroom. Our room is very dark at night so the colors in this tv pop out at you. For the price we paid, this is a great tv, takes up much less space in my bedroom, I love it. Thanks, Samsung.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

I looked at all of the 42" plasmas for around this same price, went with this one after some debate and haven't looked back.
Pros: Inexpensive

In 1982 I purchase my first 19' color (tubed) television. It was a little known brand named "SAMSUNG." Today I realized that there are several Samsung products in my home. I own a 42 in plasma(PN42C450), Two Blu-Ray players(BD-C5500). One monitor, (Syncmaster 740EX). And finally, My reliable samsung cell phone. I do not purchase products based on brand. But base on quality and price. Samsung has afforded me quality and best price through the years. The features of my current samsung products are more than I could ever desire. I am beyond pleased. If I were to ever become a "brand" freak, samsung would be my brand of choice,

A high end set for a low end price

Wow, I really could not be more pleased with this product. I've had it about 19 days and have used just about every feature it has to offer. I fully expected the built in sound system to be just awful like the rest. I was surprised that it sounded as well as it did.I worried about the piano black finish looking dirty quickly and surprisingly it doesn't. Very vibrant picture and outstanding response time when gaming. The ONLY things I would like to see included is a Media Center Extender or Netflix built in, and perhaps an actual Power OFF instead of a standby/hibernation mode to save power.

great easy set up,... then 4 hrs later........

...after i unpacked and got all set up and watching.....the tv's picture went out.....its been in service for over a week now. service man diagnosed problem says it usually occurs in tv's that are usually two yrs old ...not 4 hrs.....

Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Plasma is the ish! I actually get 1080p on this plus cinema smooth at 24Hz! Beautiful Picture & The sound is really loud! Has Game mode to improve frame rates & I run my PC with amazing clarity I could read the smallest of words on it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, 1080p, game mode, cinema smooth, usb input for videos pictures & updates, no burn in, great features, lot's of benefits, high quality sound, bd link, dark blacks

Great picture and works great with my Samsung home theatre

This television has a great picture and was extremely simple to set up. The Anynet+ feature linked it up to my Samsung home theatre and the two pieces of equipment work great together. Samsung hit a home run with the ease of use The quality for price is second to none.

Have really enjoyed this TV. Viewing angles, clarity, color are all super. Easy to use menus. Recommend this product A+. And reasonably priced. Can't imagine who could want for more. GOOD JOB SAMSUNG
