I mainly watch sports on tv. This 42'' samsung plasma is the best i have ever owned. Sound is above average, no blur while watching sports. I use this set in my bedroom from 10 to 12 feet away. The color is outstanding. Took less than 10 minutes to set up. Value for the $ is exceptional. Register product on-line for an additional 3 month warranty.

This is my 2nd purchase, of a hd tv. The first was a lcd by another company. was not satisfied with the,color, contrast,etc of the tv, so was returned to store. I was wanting a tv that stood out, giving me what I wanted in a tv.I am not a person , who, watches a tv alot, but when I do, I want a tv that has it all. A good picture, sound , etc. This tv has it alll, good contrast, deep colors, sound, features, etc! This was the most important to me, in any type of hd tv that I purchased. Way to go Samsung ! you got me hooked!

Having being the first PLASMA HDTV my wife and I have purchased,,,it must be said for the price and quality of picture,sound and all facilities this is in our opinion money well spent. The looks/ appearance ,easy set up and ease of use of the hand control is a credit to SAMSUNG. We would, without doubt recommend this TV to anyone. In future if we are in the market to purchase addition electronic equipment...SAMSUNG will be first on our list.

Excellent T.V. for the Money

I also did alot of research. I now have my t.v. hooked up to my PS3 an Upconverter DVD player and a Sony Receiver. Everything is Great. I did have to use an Optical cable to get sound from the t.v. to go through the Home Theatre system. No Complaints and have been lucky to not have any problems. This was my first HDTV and I was pleased at how simple it was to hook up and get the home theatre going. Just remember the Optical cable.

This is my fourth Samsung purchase and all are great.
My fourth the 42 inch plasma PN42C450B1D
Is by far in it's catergory for it's price the best
picture at any viewing angle not so with LCD.

excellent picture,outstanding color,looks as if you are really there and the price was awesome. would highly recommend if you are looking for a tv with great picture quality and value you cant go wrong. highly recommened buying this product. i love it

Don't buy if you want to view photos

MediaPlay feature does not display photos with the correct aspect ratio. MediaPlay feature does not have the option to change the display aspect ratio.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
