I am a first time owner of a samsung product and I must say I am pleasantly happy with my purchase. I will recommend this product to all you are in the market for a new plasma tv. Its a joy to watch programming again...thxs samsung.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

over all im happy i purchased this tv ,but i have to call in for repairs on tv for red snow ,i downlaoded the update for this problem and it didnt help ,i will see what happens after they send someone to my home to fix this problem

overall not a bad set for the money. Would have liked to see an S video port on this set. After just 11 months I now have to have service work done on it. Looks to be a problem with the actual plasma panel. I was expecting to get at least a few years of service from this product before it needed repairs.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an amazing product, full of great features! Great picture and color quality and very user-friendly. Took less than 30 minutes to set up and set picture and other settings. It's a great value for the price!!

Failed after 6 months

Picture became pixilated with reddish tint. Intermittent shutdown. Totally dead after 6 months. Would not turn on. Samsung website that I registered product on now says "Bad Serial Number" when requesting service. Poor execution.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor reliability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This HDTV has good picture and sound. It is a great value for the features it offers. It was fairly straightforward to setup. Samsung has now made me a fan of their HDTV.

We received our Samsung last week. Could not wait to open box. I had canceled order listening to friends but after going online and doing some research; recalled order. Best decision I could have ever made. Everything about this Samsung is excellent. Especially the color and sound. My son can't wait to hook his game unit up and we both can't wait for football season. Way to go Samsung! You will forever be a part of my household!!!!

I purchased this tv a week ago for my fiancee. Unfortunately for her, I ended setting it up at my place where it seems to have found a permanent home. The color and picture clarity are unbelievable. The only annoying thing is the date/time display that flashes at the top of the screen every time you change the channel. Other than that, I'm very happy with this purchase.
