One annoying feature-a deal breaker

This is my 2nd Samsung, but 1st Plasma. Everything is GREAT except for one extremely annoying feature -and that is the rectangular pop up in the upper left of the screen that appears each time you change a channel. It stays on for about 4 sec and shows the signal source, signal freq, time etc. There is no way to bypass/disable this annoyance. Had I been aware I would not have purchased this model. I love everything els about it.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: annoying screen pop up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great TV

I had been looking for a TV for my room when I got an email from the store I bought it from at a great price. I already own another Samsung TV and it has lasted 5 years with NO problems, thus this persuaded me in my decision even more. Good color and sound, nothing has gone wrong.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color

Plasma hands down

This Series 450 is great out of the box easy to install and picture quality in HD is incomparable to any TV I've ever had. I have a 50" Samsung 1080i in my livingroom and 42" 720i in the bedroom. The 450 series needs a good HD hookup for the quality I want to see, so I hooked to an all HD box from our signal provider and it is clear as a photo. The price is ridiculously low now for plasmas and I haven't even looked at the LED/LCD's lately. I know the prices on them are too high for my budget.

Tv was easy to set up, has more than enough hdmi hook ups. Has rich sound and picture is quite sharp and detailed. On screen menu is easy to navigate.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
