just got the new 40 in lcd and I love it, picture is great and ps3 looks awesome on it. I love that I can connect to my wireless internet through my t.v and there is plenty of hook up,s for additional devices. I will be upgrading my home theater from jvc to samsung soon had a jvc plasma that i just got rid of for this samsung lcd and it was the best move I have made.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the picture turned to purple/blue /green vertical lines 16 days after purchase.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, picture went black

120hz is a joke performance this year is worse than previous years there is a panel lottery you could have a significantly poorer quality picture depending on the panel you get earlier tech or later tech

I purchased this TV 2 weeks ago, along with a Samsung wireless USB dongle. I have already had to schedule one service call with Samsung as the circuit board needed to be replaced (wireless access did not work). The TV is nice, but no way to update to get web apps. Only "online" things I can do is update TV software and connect to my own PC's or laptops connected to my home network. I wish it was clear that this TV did not come with apps......Very limiting from an online perspective, plus, needed service call within 2 weeks of buying. I'm a bit disappointed.....
Pros: Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, no "online" options

We both hate this TV the picture quality is very poor and has been from day one. We love our 2 Samsong Plasma TVs.
Pros: turns out there are none!
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

I love the way my TV looks, with the touch of color feature make it look 3 times expensive, of what it really is. the only issue I have is that doesn't have widgets, but next Samsung I'll buy has to have them.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

I just plugged in my new 6 series 46 inch LCD. The picture is just amazing. Clear, crisp, no lag. Its big but in a few minutes of watching sports or a movie, you are IN the moovie or game. It is almost 3D.Movies can appear to be livebroadcasts, it's that clean a picture.
Consumer reports said this was a recommended buy and they were spot on.
I am very impressed and got a good buy on it, so we are quite pleased with Samsung and their support staff as well.
