Samsung outshines all

I can recognize a Samsung screen in any store I walk into by the quality and sharpness of the image. This is my 4th Samsung LCD and they are all terrific. The Blu-ray works wonderfully as well. Thank you, Samsung.

A Great Experience

We bought this LCD TV after reading many reviews and looking at many tv sets in several stores. It excels most of the others in picture clarity, contrast and brightness control, sound control, as well as volume range. Color rendition is absolutely beautiful. I am a serious amateur photographer and realistic color is extremely important when viewing images. This TV is simply a pleasure to watch.
In addition, the Menu is well organized and relatively intuitive, making the set easy to use. Which reminds me...setup was easy and requires no major mechanical skill.
I would recommend this set to everyone.

Samsung has been consistent in making great products without spending a fortune. I liked the LN40C630 so much, I purchased the LN46C630 for the family room. I played around with the settings for several weeks and found the best picture is gained by setting the TV to "game mode". Go into menu and scroll down to "general settings". Put on game mode, then go back and adjust the picture to your liking. The audio will stay in "movie" mode but that's only if you're using the TV speakers. It does not affect your home theatre settings. The "3d effect" with 120hz auto motion on "standard" is nice but tends to be a bit choppy. I am not sure if this is caused by the TV what it is hooked up to. If you want complete smoothness with a great picture, stay with the "game mode". It looks awesome when watching Blu Ray movies or satellite/cable. The Samsung Blu Ray player works great with this TV. Nice job Samsung.

This set worked great right out of the box. It has the sharpest and brightest colors of any set I have seen.Everything is a breeze, except for setting up the 120 hz. I haven't figured it out yet, but I haven't contacted support about it either, so I can't complain about it.I highly recommend this set.

I have never seen such extraordinary quality in a television picture--the colors pop brilliantly like an artist's canvas, and the action is so life-like that it seems to leap off the screen. It's a joy to watch even the most ordinary images--even the evening news comes alive (the news producers owe Samsung a lot!). The Samsung technology on this model puts others to shame--it's a vibrant, living piece of equipment that adds incalculably to my life.
