Exellent display for the price

The display is much better on this one than my older 46"
Samsung LCD.
Playing over USB disk was better than my old ps3 + ps3media server.
I am giving one more chance to samsung as my older one burnt it's video controller after 3 years - probably due to
Growing pains with newer technology.
Make sure you get extended warranty. :-)

First LCD purchase

After much research, I bought a Samsung LN40C630 and I have not been disappointed. I have a networked home and DLNA was the primary feature which was a must have. I have been blown away by the TV picture quality. DLNA is a snap and I was streaming content in no time.
Cons: Sound from the TV is average
For some reason, Picture size(p-size) does not work in Media share(either streaming or USB). Some of my video is not exactly 16:9 and I get black bars on the top.

This is the second Samsung LCD TV I have purchased. The TV has met all of my expectations and more. Definitely a bang for the buck. Samsung as always has delivered another great product.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Picture is great! The crisp image watching movies is awesome! The only down I found was a slight lag between the game system and the display but that is adjustable on some games and systems.. Other than that though it was a great upgrade to match our bedroom Samsung tv and bluray player!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: minimally overpriced
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ran it directly off of digital cable. Decided to try cable hd box, what a difference! I compared other tvs, this is the best. I contacted Samsung with some tech questions and was impressed with the courteous service.

Very Nice and value for money LCD television. I like this TV very much. The Media Play option is rocking. We can play movies from external HDD in a real good clarity. It plays so many of video types.
Overall its a good buy.

This tv is excellent. The color and clarity is wonderful.
I would reccommend it highly to anyone looking for a HD television. This is my second Samsung and would buy another Samsung if needed. Their quality is better than all others by far.

This is a great TV. I'm surprised how good the picture looks even when watching non-HD movies. I'm also impressed at how a TV with a great picture makes surround sound more enjoyable and have more impact. The TV was easy to set up and is easy to use. The 120,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio makes movies look very realistic, and more like watching in a theater. It's like watching new movies, even when watching movies I've seen several times. I am currently using a component video cable and optical audio cable for movies, and these work great, but the TV has plenty of HDMI connections when I'm ready to upgrade to a blu-ray player and a newer receiver. Thank you Samsung for making our family movie nights more enjoyable. Well done Samsung!
