Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I have usually stuck with Sony when it comes to TV's but after looking at the reviews for this LCD, I knew I had to check it out. When I looked at reviews online and looked at one in a big box retailer, I knew this was the TV for me.

I looked at many TV's, different brands, sizes etc... and when I saw this Samsung I was sold. I am very pleased with this TV though the sound quality is poor. I did purchase at a different time a Samsung Surround Wireless Sound Bar and all I can say is WOW! Now I have the complete system....Would recommend to anyone looking for a TV that is priced well and has an excellent picture.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: poor sound quality

Hissing noise getting louder

I thought this TV was good except that a few weeks after the warranty ran out the sound went bad. Now it will begin to hiss loudly at random times no matter what is playing on the screen, even when it's just sitting at the menu screen. If I tap it on the back near the power plug it will sometimes stop. Usually if I turn it off and then back on, it will quit. I even started muting the sound and running the sound through an external receiver and speakers, but the sound still comes back. I'm disappointed. It's a great TV otherwise.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, sound issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
