It is a nice tv. Thin for an LCD but still good sound quality.

This is a great HD LCD TV. Very easy to set up, beautiful HD picture. I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this tv.

I purchased a Samsung 42" Plasma 5 yrs ago and it is till going strong. The television is still going strong the picture is still vibrant as ever. This is what influenced me into buying this model. Purchased it and hooked it up and home and I am not disappointed. Once again Samsung has come through with a great product and I remain faithful to the brand.

Fantastic Ultra Clear HD Picture!

I've been drooling over LCD TVs for years, and finally broke down and got one. After staring at dozens of flat panels, there is No Question that Samsung technology is Far Superior with respect to LCD HD TVs.
I am VERY HAPPY with the 40" LCD C630 Model, its picture is incredibly crisp and clean, and I honestly find myself feeling like I'm in the room while they're filming. Even for less than full HD content, this set does a tremendous job providing a clear sharp picture that to me represents the whole purpose of HD.
Fantastic! I highly recommend this TV! :-D
Also, on a technical note, I got this 630 model instead of the newer 670 model, which has built-in Internet capabilities, because I purchased the 630 along with a Samsung BluRay player with built-in wireless for that purpose. The sum total cost was equivalent between the 2 options, but this way I get BluRay as well. Also, the 630 has a Matte screen, whereas the 670 has moved to a Gloss screen, which while "sexy" is somewhat more annoying for real TV viewing with ambient light in the room.

Great Tv. This is our first lcd tv and we are very impressed with the tv. When we compare models in the store, this one stood out and seemed a great buy for the price.
