Great TV!

So i have owned this tv for about a month now. TV came with no defects when it arrived out of the box. easy to put the stand on, and looks awesome aesthetically. picture seemed pretty good right out of the box, i did change some tru motion settings though, due to the 120hz will give you some soap opera affect, but i still use some of it unless im gaming. If you are a gamer, use the game picture setting and it turns tru motion off and the refresh rate becomes 60hz, other wise there WILL BE LAG if you are playing online. there are lots of customization features, especially for the picture. I am super super pleased with this tv, couldnt be happier, especially with the price i paid. I would definetly recommend this to anyone looking for a tv in this range. This is the 2nd flat screen from LG i have owned, and they both are fantastic.

exelent picture and refresh rate

I bought this LG and it's been great , the refresh rate and motion flow really makes Movies and games look oustanding , I replaced my 60Hz T.V with this 120Hz and see a massive difference . the 2.5 Ms Response time makes it good for Gaming , My 360 and PS3 run great , Ive watched my Blu-Rays and Standard DVD's and they run and play naturally with the motion flow , i'm very pleased with this T.V , it has a USB 2.0 but havent used it yet so cant comment on that feature but eventually .There is 3 HDMI Inputs for your HD Devices and some componant Inputs as well , the T.V is light weight less than 40 lbs out of the box , the only thing i would suggest is getting a home theater sound system , the audio isn't bad but you could do better with a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system . over all i would give this T.V 5 Stars .

Great First HDTV

I couldn't be more pleased with this television. The picture quality is amazing, the colors are vibrant, and the Tru Motion feature is nice for sporting events. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase a very nice, reasonably-priced HD television whether it be their first or fifth.

We where in the mood for a tv. upgrade. We did our homework on true HD tv's we fell in love with his LG tv. we have been happy ever since the new year. Perfect for gaming sports and movies.

bad speakers

this product itz awesome in quality the only problem with it is the speakers are facing the rear so itz hard lo lissen to ... the volume has to be half way up so you can barelly hear ..... i have to get a home theater system to conect to the tv so i can get some reasonable sound.... other than that i love LG and i want all the electronics in my house to be LG

So you want a big screen TV

Although this prticular TV has been discontinued I am sure that if it was reinstated people would buy it . I did. I measured my space to see what size I would need to fit where I wanted it and then went out and looked at hundreds and hundreds of big screen TV's. Learned a lot by asking a lot of questions also. Finally decided between three brands and researched all of them . Thats one benifit of going to college. For the quality of picture, ease of use, space requirements and cost this TV was by far the best value. I have owned it for about a year and had one service item performed which did not cost me one red cent. Too bad they no longer sell this one but if this one is any indication of what I can expect from lg in the future then I know LG will be my choice on my next TV
