this is an awesome television set. the picture is beautiful and we had no problem at all getting it set up and working. we also got a great price on it. one of the best things we've ever purchased for ourselves.

Bang for the Buck

I really love the vivid colors and clean picture of the LG tv's. The price is great and overall I am really pleased with my purchase. If I had to say there is one thing I am a bit disappointed in, it is the sound quality. It is very difficult to adjust. It seems to fluctuate and sounds a bit hollow. Perhaps I'm not making the correct adjustments. I have a surround system so I have just circumvented it altogether. The trumotion has not completely gotten rid of the blur. However, it does help to adjust to low during movies and high during video games. Overall, I really enjoy my new tv. I love the crispness of the picture and the fresh bright colors. My purse is liking it too. Thanks!

This is my first LG product and I love it. The quality of the picture is amazing. I even had a satellite repairman comment on how great the picture was and he sees all makes. I definitely would reccomend this to anyone.

I purchased this TV after a friend recommended it. For the price and quality it is incredible. The "TruMotion" feature is a little much for me, makes it seem like you're holding the camera. Also, the audio is delayed from my surround sound, but I mute it anyway so no biggie. That being said, the picture is beautiful. I have really enjoyed having this TV and would encourage all to buy one.

I bought this TV after 2 weeks of research and have loved everything about it. The primary purpose for this TV was for my Xbox 360 and the secondary purpose was for movies. The picture is beautiful when playing high-action games like Modern Warfare 2 and Street Fighter IV. The TV's user interface makes it easy to switch between the game mode and cinema mode. Movies on the TV are seamless, smooth, and very liquid. I watched Iron Man on it and was amazed at the TV's picture; it looked like I was using an up-converting DVD player when I was simply using my Xbox. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this TV and will definitely puchase another LG in the future!

Great picture ,great sound and nice look to the TV
Easy to use!!! the remote is no good slow responds time. And the USB ONLY does music and pictures

BETTER THAN A "HOUSE BRAND" (PRICE WISE)

I was about to buy a 42 VIZIO 120hz 1080p, it had better feature but it still a "house brand", and I think LG have better picture, so for the same price as the 42LD520 I got the LG instead. My opinion on the intelligent sensor: I don't use it. I wish that this LG 42LD520 support video playback from USB, but it doesn't, just Picture and Music. Even though that the manual say it will play video EXCEPT 32/37/42/47LD450 (so 42LD520 should play it), but I'm still happy with the 42LD520. VERY AWESOME PICTURE!!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, digital antenna, price/value, picture feature are very good
Cons: Features/Settings, video from usb won't play, don't have dvi connection, lag on remote control's execution

Great size for family room. Very easy to set up and it works great with outdoor TV antenna. (No satellite or cable).Super HD picture. Sound is self leveling, so no loud commercials.

Cons: glossy finish around screen
