Best tv purchase ever

I had been looking for a good tv for a while now. when i went into the store i saw this one and for the price it is unbeatable. i would strongly recommend this tv to friends.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: glossy finish

Originally intended to buy the 42LD550, with the feature to wireless connect to a PC and use as a monitor (additional hardware required). However, after reconsidering - realized that for the price, the 42LD520 was actually a much nicer fit. Apart from the lack of connectivity it is a beautiful machine. Picture quality is excellent. Sound is very good, especially with adaptive volume options. Sleek look and "breathing" power indicator add fun ambiance (only breathes when turning on). Best TV I've ever bought.

This is a great TV. Easy to set up. Controls are user friendly. I didn't have to take a class to learn how to operate it.

I really like LG

Ordered the TV online. It was delivered, I unpacked it and went to set it up. 3 tries and it kept turning itself off. Called the support line, went through some tests, no luck. Then to my amazement, they scheduled a repairman, who got the part, came to my condo and fixed it. Wow! I never expected service like that. TV is up an working. Great picture. Controls and settings are very easy to use. I totally recommend this TV, and I am ecstatic about the LG service. I will definitely buy LG products in the future.

We like everything about the TV except it doesn't take well to HDMI cables regardless of quality, price or brand. What a shame

Picture quality is awesome and colors are true; numerous special features: Clear Voice is fantastic, room light sensor and backlighting work great; best audio and speaker system in its category, for small room, did not need additional sound system.

An Excellent Picture!

This is my second LCD TV, but my first LG. The picture quality on this set is terrific. It has almost a 3D quality to it even though the TV is not a 3D set.
I have used this set for about a month, but I wasn't expecting to see such an improvement over the previous set. I'm betting over the long term the investment in LG proves to be a good one.

I had put off buying a digital TV since I only use a roof mounted antenna, not cable or satellite. When the price of this LG TV reached what I considered a great value, I bought it. I am so pleased with the picture just using my old existing roof antenna (with most stations broadcasting from 60 miles away). The TV works flawlessly, easy to use, decent sound, great picture quality even with over the air digital network signal inputs. Would definitely recommend LG TVs to friends.
