Samsung has another hit!

There will be plenty of things said, that will be positive about this fridge, but it's the fourth door that has us as happy as can be! We use is for sodas and beer. We set it on the lowest setting, meats- 28 degrees I believe, and both are ice cold...without the ice! We love it!!

I have had my new fridge for about two months now. I love this unit, my only gripe is the sound level in which the ice machine makes when dumping a new batch of ice.
Pros: Bright display

Love it except for noisy icemaker

Love that you can program temps in all compartments. Keeps strawberries fresh for 3 wks!
When the icemaker dropped it's first load I about jumped out of the sofa - it was loud! It still startles us from time to time when things are otherwise quiet in the house. Also water stream from dispenser is pretty slow and not very cold.

Beautiful with Nice Features But Noisy

We love the appearance, capacity, and utility of this appliance. But be warned: the icemaker, when it 'harvests' or releases ice into the holding area above the dispenser, is loud enough to hear 3 rooms away. Not just our experience, it's been confirmed by sales people and other consumers.
It's an expensive and sleek refrigerator, truly beautiful.
Great counter-height drawer, fabulous freezer storage (2 levels in one good sized drawer). Just be aware you will hear ice being released each time it does so. Loud.
Pros: big and beautiful
Cons: noisy!

The quality and design of this refrigerator is outstanding, the LED lights shows you how up to date Samsung is, this particular refrigerator is super quiet even when you have it on power cool and/or power freeze. We have several Samsung appliances for over 3 years now and none of them has given us any problems, thats why we bought this refrigerator 2 months ago

We went to this from a side by side. When we emptied the old one out, we still had enough room to almost empty out the spare fridge in the garage! The sliding and hinged shelf are great to configure your space. The only problem I had was during setup, I had to call Samsung to realize that you dont touch the icons on the touchscreen, you touch the words BELOW them. Highly recommended.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable

What a handy Fridge for kids

we love this fridge. Very handy, you open the doors to this portal of convenience . With LEDs there are no dark corners. The freezer is this cavernous space. Plenty of room for food, for a family of four. Now to the really cool part, that center drawer. Thats the kids drawer, all the great healthy foods and drinks the kids love. They can reach it, and help them selves. Because its so easy to access, they have increased there healthy snack intake. Just above it is the very handy "watering hole" as we call it. The Kids love it. Great product, quiet as anything. ice is nice and still makes the same noises expected from ice falling. All in all a fun refrigerator, can you tell I'm excited about owning it? Thanks Samsung. Oh and the shelves all slide forward another handy item.
Pros: handy, cavernous, well built, quiet, appealing, convenient, door alarm
Cons: doors dont self close, shows finger print

A very, very good choice...

We are a large family so we wanted a large fridge but this time with a bottom freezer. There are many models to choose from. Three elements sold us on this model: 1) the Twim Cooling design is excellent. As an engineer I appreciated the approach, though the reliability over time will be of interest, 2) design of the icemaker and the external dispensing center are excellent. Other models do provide more top shelf space but at the expense of the door racks. We use the door racks more to store dressings, condiments, etc. so there is less time getting these, 3) the beverage door is superb. My only real concern is the inability (or instructions) for how to clean the coils. We have a dog; it must need cleaning BUT there is nothing to explain how to conduct routine preventive maintenance. For the money this should not be the case.
Pros: value for the money, electronic temp control, power cooling feature, very easy to replace h2o filter
Cons: no preventive maintenance instructions, uses up h2o filter quickly
