A very, very good choice...

We are a large family so we wanted a large fridge but this time with a bottom freezer. There are many models to choose from. Three elements sold us on this model: 1) the Twim Cooling design is excellent. As an engineer I appreciated the approach, though the reliability over time will be of interest, 2) design of the icemaker and the external dispensing center are excellent. Other models do provide more top shelf space but at the expense of the door racks. We use the door racks more to store dressings, condiments, etc. so there is less time getting these, 3) the beverage door is superb. My only real concern is the inability (or instructions) for how to clean the coils. We have a dog; it must need cleaning BUT there is nothing to explain how to conduct routine preventive maintenance. For the money this should not be the case.
Pros: value for the money, electronic temp control, power cooling feature, very easy to replace h2o filter
Cons: no preventive maintenance instructions, uses up h2o filter quickly

What a handy Fridge for kids

we love this fridge. Very handy, you open the doors to this portal of convenience . With LEDs there are no dark corners. The freezer is this cavernous space. Plenty of room for food, for a family of four. Now to the really cool part, that center drawer. Thats the kids drawer, all the great healthy foods and drinks the kids love. They can reach it, and help them selves. Because its so easy to access, they have increased there healthy snack intake. Just above it is the very handy "watering hole" as we call it. The Kids love it. Great product, quiet as anything. ice is nice and still makes the same noises expected from ice falling. All in all a fun refrigerator, can you tell I'm excited about owning it? Thanks Samsung. Oh and the shelves all slide forward another handy item.
Pros: handy, cavernous, well built, quiet, appealing, convenient, door alarm
Cons: doors dont self close, shows finger print

We love our fridge! The only disappointment is that the front is plastic and not actual metal. We have had ours for about 3 months now and it is doing nicely, though we have noticed that it has gotten a little louder now that it has been operating. When we first got it was so quiet we were not sure it was operating except when it would make ice. Read a lot of complaints about the noise, but for crying our loud, it's an ice maker! The noise is less noticeable once it fills up.
Pros: Durable, dual zone cooling, drawer for soda
Cons: plastic front

My rating is based on the short time I have had it. It would not be a true assessment of it if I went to the right. There is nothing wrong with this model, there is room for everything and more. The flex zone drawer is great for wine and deli snacks. The LED lights make you feel like you walked into a football stadium at night. It is quiet, the ice dropping is only noticeable if you are in the room. The 1/2 shelve capability in the refrigerator section are great for tall items, with no apparent lose of shelf space for other items. Stainless is exactly that. Marks come off with little effort.
Right now, because it should be flawless, it is a great piece of furniture. I will be back after a few months and rate it again.

We have had the refrigerator about six months and are very pleased with it. It took about a week for the temperatures to settle down, but since then it has been fine.
