We love our new Samsung refrigerator. The size of the freezer is deceptive, I have stored 15 racks of ribs, 10 lbs of rib tips and a picnic roast, with room to spare...lots of room.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this refrigerator! Roomy, easy to clean, love all the seperate environment controls for individual drawers. SO, SO glad decided on this model with the 'FlexZone' drawer. Have NO idea how often you are in and out of it until you have one. The extra slide drawer in the freezer is super handy for smaller items that normally fall to the bottom. I did not want a stainless one, but was stuck due to emergency, but am happy with it...whatever process used is super, so easy to clean compared to other stainless items I have, no smearing. Great job Samsung.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, easy access to all areas
Cons: water filter cartridges too expensive...come on!

I love the special uses drawer

My family loves the meats/snacks/party trays/wines drawer. It is so handy for keeping meats/cheeses fresh and handy. And so helpful in organizing and planning. Nothing gets lost in the back of the fridge. This drawer is the reason we bought this particular model (RF4287HARS) and it has not disappointed. That leaves the shelves in the refrigerator for fresh fruits and vegetables and the spacious shelves on the doors for salad dressings and other condiments. And the flat broad surface at the bottom inside of the refrigerator is a great holding area while I move things around inside the unit.

I had this refrigerator for over 6 months and it is working like a champ. I had no issues yet. This refrigerator is very spacious maybe two big for two people (which is my case) The ice maker works quickly and it is very effective. The only thing I would say about this refrigerator is when it is dropping the ice to the ice box it is a little loud which can scared people that are not used to it. After a while you become immune to it and it doesn't become a big deal anymore

Extremely disapointed with the lack of a cold water on door

when i bought this unit i never asked the size of the cold water system. you are lucky to get 6oz of cold water from the door dispensor then you have to wait 4 hours for the next glass. If you have a family you will need to use a jug in the refrig. This is the reason why we buy water dispensors on the door.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, lack of a sufficient cold water system
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
