Very very happy with this frig

Absolutely recommend this frig. Really happy with the 3 drawers / bottom freezer; had a side-by-side before. Great interior lighting and flexibility in shelf arrangement. Center Flex-Zone drawer and adjustable organizer bars are 'way more effective than you first expect - frees up a huge amount of room in the upper level.
The icemaker output is ample enough to create a stockpile if you need party-size supplies - plenty of room in the freezer since there's no extra icemaker taking up space. And OK, the ice drops with a noise into an empty reservoir, but is hardly noticeable after the first batch when the ice drops onto other ice. The nice thing about this design is that the deeper, narrower ice container dispenses the ice from the bottom and the ice supply stays fresh. The ice in my old frig had to be purged from time to time because some ice would get 'stale' when the mechanism would fail to pull the 'older' ice from the sides of a more shallow container.

Pros: shelving layout and flexibility, stainless finish easy to clean and stays clean, freezer storage drawer and door shelf, quiet operation

Best fridge ever

I had samsung appliances in the past (washer&dryer), LCD TVs, and was extremely satisfied.
This year, I told myself what the heck. Samsung does fridges, let's give it a shot.
Men, I should have done this move a long time ago. This fridge is AMAZING and it makes my kitchen look good. It looks so good that I almost need to kiss the fridge good night every night.
The top part of the fridge is enormous. There is almost too much space, but I love it this way. It allows us to keep everything clean without stacking things on the top of each other.
The middle tray is very useful. It has preprogrammed temperatures, and is good for drinks, cheese, daily meat, etc ... It leaves more space in the top part of the fridge, since I do not use the door trays for the drinks (beside gallon of milk).

Finally, the bottom tray is for the frozen food. Very well organized, you need to go and see it at your local vendor to check it out.
I would definitely recommend this fridge.

The best fridge i have ever owned !

I love the versitility of this fridge. The counter drawer is awesome! With the adjustable temperature settings,I use it for large platters when entertaining,and for " 33 degree beverages" when i'm not. The hide away half shelf is great for storing a large pot with lid,( no more lids upside down!)and the flip up shelf by the ice maker, is great for those giant 3 liter bottles of soda.This fridge is very quiet,and love the led lighting.The only 2 very minor complaints I have is I can't put 2 gallons of milk side by side in the door shelf.(I can put a gallon and a half gallon in the door shelf !) The other issue I have is the quad divider in the counter drawer does not lock into place. So over all I still love this fridge!
I would recommend this to a friend!

#1 The ice maker has to be one of the loudest that I have ever heard.
#2 There is no way to keep the bottom two draws open while loading.

Beware of defective icemakers in this unit

The second refrigerator was delivered today. The original purchase was on December 22, 2010, and the first fridge was delivered on the 23rd. I had to return to the place of purchase for reorder, because as of the 26th, IT DID NOT MAKE A SINGLE ICE CUBE. I was on the phone for hours with tech support, printed out info online and performed all the disassembly, line purging, ice maker resetting, power freezing, etc, that I could stand trying to make this thing produce ice. Every 8 hours for 4 days, I spent checking on the unit, but finally gave up. The replacement unit came in today, and was installed by 12pm, and by 3:30 pm, I had already seen 8 1/2 cubes dropped from the ice maker into the bucket........go figure.....
Pros: features drawer organization
Cons: price a bit high, defective icemaker
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We were in need of a new refrigerator, the look and features sold this refrigerator to my wife and I. After about 2 weeks of using it we love it! But we are not too happy with the counter-height drawer, which was one of the features we were mostly impress with at the store. The drawer does not fully open making it hard to reach all the items at the same time the movable guides inside the drawer do not have a locking mechanism, the guide constantly moves. I would think these are two issues Samsung engineer will be able to fix with not much problems. Love IT but the counter-height drawer brings it down to like IT.
Pros: Bright display

I love the design, the roominess, the quiet running, the lights.
The crushed ice is rather messy.. Will just use cubed..The water usually drips a couple of times after you remove the glass..I have only had the refrigerator a few days, so am hoping it will adjust when all the air is out of the fill tubes.. all in all I give it a 99.9

Extremely disapointed with the lack of a cold water on door

when i bought this unit i never asked the size of the cold water system. you are lucky to get 6oz of cold water from the door dispensor then you have to wait 4 hours for the next glass. If you have a family you will need to use a jug in the refrig. This is the reason why we buy water dispensors on the door.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, lack of a sufficient cold water system
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
