Best refrigerator I've ever owned!

I bought this refrigerator to replace another similar type refrigerator from another company that only lasted 5 years. Samsung was recommended by the salesperson as reliable and had all the features I wanted and then some. Could not be happier with my purchase. I love the sliding and lifting shelves to allow for tall items and the flex drawer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have been using this refrigerator for about 6 months. It does everything we purchased it for. The added door is great. We have had some problems on the samsung website getting the part # for the water filter. Skip the main website and go to www.samsungpart.com. The main website is worthless.
Pros: Bright display

This is the best refrigerator I've ever owned. The unit is a fully-functional and energy efficient unit. The units interior is well designed and the interior lighting is exceptional. I appreciate the "easy access" water filter. All in all, I highly recommend this unit. [Note: I cannot recommend this unit at the MSRP point. However, I have never seen the device sold for MSRP.]

We love our new refrigerator. Love being able to see what we need. We were somewhat surprised that there isn't a butter tray or an egg tray but other than that we are totally satisfied with our purchase.

Worth the money so far

Our old, very simple fridge died suddenly, and we decided to spend some money and buy our first "grown up" fridge. We considered for a second the newer model of this fridge (the only difference we saw is that the newer model has a soda machine, that's it), but the price difference and few extra features did not make it worth.
First, the fridge is huge inside. We've been buying a lot of food and the fridge still looks empty, both in the fridge and freezer sections. Plenty of extra little nooks everywhere that fit bottles and other things. So, while the ice and water does occupy space in the fridge, you can still somewhat take advantage of that space. But having water and ice on the door at all times does make life a lot easier compared to not having them! (Be aware, though, that you do need to replace the filter every now and then, and it's not that cheap. The fridge does tell you when to do so, though.)
Design-wise, the fridge is just beautiful. The stainless steel French doors make life a lot easier, and look great. The LCD at the door is big and easy to read and use, controlling several setting on the fridge, including how cold it is. The inside lights or the lights on the water/ice dispenser are awesome, and even makes food look nicer!
We also love the middle tray with its own temperature control. Perfect for a couple bottles of wine, snacks with easy access, and so on.
The only two downsides to this fridge that I've noted in the last month we've had it:
If you want to use ice trays to make ice, there's really no place to properly store them (not that you need it that much, since the fridge does have an ice maker, but still).
And the stainless steel door does get smudges very easily, although I've read tips from others here on how to clean or maintain the door more easily, so that's also not a big problem.
Overall, very very happy with this purchase. It was a big investment but, in the one month we've had it, it's been absolutely what we expected, and more.

The WOW Factor!

This refrigeratro has it all! The in door water and ice is fantastic. My kids love that the light turns its self on when you put a cup in. They also love the drawer for their drinks and snacks. Everything is easier to reach and store than my old side-by-side. I just love the freezer drawer. Everything has a place and is easy to get to.
Pros: Bright display, snack drawer
Cons: cost, not finger print resistant

The best fridge I've ever had...

Great fridge. The only complaint I have is that when the freezer drawer opens, you have to pull the internal drawer forwards. Since I keep my most used freezer stuff in that drawer, it would be better to have to push it back to see the stuff on the bottom. Just a small complaint, but the fridge still rocks.
Pros: bright lighting, energy efficient
