I just retired, and I always have my grandchildren and there friends in the house.
The child friendly drawer is real handy for the little ones.
They can easily get to the sting cheese, the yogurt, and the fruit without any help.
I also like the child lock for the real little ones who like to push buttons, My new floor likes the fact that the water and ice won't run while the child lock is on, and the little ones can't change any settings.
I was able to easily defrost a 20 pound turkey in the top unit, and still had plenty of room for all my normal food.
two weeks ago, I bought fresh mandarin oranges, and they still all have that waxy shine of fresh fruit..
My better half calls it her baby .
I never had a freezer that kept ice cream so fresh for so long.
I'm not a real big junk foodie, so ice cream lasts awhile.
I think it was the best fridge I will ever own, and will buy another one.
So far we love it. It makes plenty of ice and I can now put my large tall glasses in the dispenser. It keeps everything fresher and the ice cream just right. Not noisy and the ice maker doesn't seem any louder than my old one. Bright lighting everywhere.
I have had it for almost a year. All my food continues to smell of plastic. I have tried all recommended remedies and nothing seems to work. I use A&H Baking soda in all sections, which makes it a little bearable.
Pros: awesome looks
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, smells plastic

Second Samsung refrigerator for us in 7 years. This 28 cu ft replaced 25 ft one now in garage.
Second Samsung refrigerator for me in 7 years, old fridge now continuing to work, but now in garage
Samsung greatly improved design of this later fridge, most "visible" being the vastly superior array of bright LED lights thruout all sections of the fridge. The old Samsung, tho excellent of function was poorly lit........fixed in the new generation, thank you Samsung.
Got used to the thunder of ice dropping into the collector with old fridge, same noise with this one. No big deal.
Preferred the old fridge control panel readout, as the freezer and refrigerator temperatures remained lit at all times, not so the new panel readout.......one must tap a sort of code on the blank temp numbers to get them to indicate the temp inside for a few seconds. The written manual does not explain the temperature function display, but leads one to believe that the temperature displays constantly, since the manual is written like the manual for my older fridge unit.
Due to door width in my home, had to take off the doors and hinges, a bit of an ordeal, tho once the doors are off a discovery is made that the RAILS for the Flex Zone and Freezer stick out about 1 1/2 inches WHICH IS NOT accounted in the manual dimensions for the fridge with the doors off.
The manual illustrations are poorly labeled and lettered in relation to the write-ups. The paper could be of a better quality rather than the recycled thin, tissue-like feeling.
All in all, the function and design of the fridge is a-Okay !
