Great overall, beautiful looking set. Only issue has been internet apps sometimes are unworkable or unduly cumbersome.

Wonderful high quality picture for the price and size. Internet app set and upgradable software are a great idea. The motion acceleration isn't needed and causes some annoying problems but can be turned off. Sound is marginal for a high priced unit, if they cant make good sound and keep the slim size they need to come up with outboard speakers.
They should add the local dimming that's included in the 6800 in all models and just do away with the non-local dimming sets to avoid confusion. Would have purchased the 55c6800 if we could have found one in stock.

Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, good off angle viewing
Cons: some "clouding" in dark areas

A great product. Easy to mount. Picture on standard channels a bit grainy when I first turned it on but once I tweaked some settings both standard and HD looks great. I am having a bit of trouble accessing the Apps account but think it's something to do with the website. Only thing I would like to see improved is the media access. I have a network storage device and the TV cannot access it. I will take one of my external drives and copy media to it for use with the TV. I also have a Samsung Blu-ray player and surround and all work great together on anynet.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: unable to access a network drive

Amazing Picture, but limited Apps Features

I bought this TV after extensive research - found the best deal on it, and was excited to get it set up. Although this TV has some really nice features, several of them mean nothing to me, and some are just not complete.
Examples:
1.1" "Thin" - not important in my descision - could have been 10" thick for my purposes - that extra thickness could have added better speakers for one thing, and probably reduced the price.
Limited apps - the only apps are Samsung Apps, there is no browser or generic internet access.
NetFlix App does not allow you to view anything but movies that are in your Queue - from your computer - no TV shows or other NetFlix features.
