Nice TV with some minor Streaming Issues

The Samsung 6500 has a beautiful picture. It's an attractive TV. One complaint is one of the streaming apps blinks. The second minor problem is the codecs for DLNA. The VOB and MPEG codecs that are on the TV don't work well at all. Over all a good TV. But please Samsung fix the streaming issues. If you fix those issues the TV will be perfect.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: poor streaming

Great Picture. Looks good on the wall too.

I shopped around for weeks looking at TVs in the stores and was drawn to the Samsung products in every store. The picture quality is great, even on Standard Definition shows. I love the slim design. It looks great hanging on the wall. I had a little trouble with Netflix at first, but a firware update fixed the problem.
The only thing that I am missing from this televions, which may not be missing I just haven't found out how to use it yet, is pulling digital media from a network attached storage. But, I remind myself, this is a TV, not a media center. Other than that little spec, this television is phenomenal!!!!! I highly recommend, over and over again. Samsung did an awesome job building this TV with as many versatile features as it has.
We have a high def package and when we went to a channel with scenery, it was breathtaking. So clear, so much depth to it. Even though we purchased a blu ray dvd player to enhance our enjoyment, I could not see the difference between the blu-ray movie and our screen.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, just like being there
I would recommend this to a friend!

Advantages:
1. DLNA feature are good. I can play media files directly to tv from my windows7 laptops. 2. I can use the remote app installed on my ipod touch which makes typing easier. 3. Clarity is awesome. 4. Design is superb.
Disadvantages: 1. Costly. For less price you get similar product with 3D features. 2. White clouds are lot visible during the dark scenes and when the room is dark. I was not expecting this for this costly product.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: white clouds

I purchased this to replace a 2 year old 46" Samsung. What a difference. The picture is great and the features are very nice. I believe this is the best deal for the money in this size going.
It has been many painstaking years of going to friends and relatives homes and seeing amazing television equipment and then to my own home where I honestly did not watch TV (I just saw it every once and a while) because it was a waist of time. I watched the Big LeBowzki on my new 55" Sammie LED the second I had it set up. Amazing!! I can honestly say it was like the first time i actually watched the movie... Sure I had seen the movie and movies before, but since installing my Sammie I have been watching movies now..
