Excellent Purchase

This was a fantastic purchase! A friend of mine had one and the picture was so crisp and clear and the shape and design of the TV so sleek, that I just had to have one. The sound system to me is not the greatest but what it lacks there it makes up in other areas (such as the 3D feature..which I am not a fanatic over but it is a pretty sweet feature!!). I would highly recommend this product...you won't have any regrets!!

I love this Television. The Picture settings are nice and customizable. I find the picture is almost TOO sharp! I tweaked the Movie settings to look more like film to me, which was a great thing to be able to save. The 3D works great on what releases that I have seen. The design and interface are very well designed. The only flaw I found was because the speakers were rear facing that I needed an additional surround sound unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takes getting used to-

This tv is one of those things that you could try and describe the picture until you are blue in the face and still never be able to convey the image this tv displays-
We just have standard cable tv service with no special packages- on the HD channels we have, it is like you are sitting on the set with the actors- you can see the nuances of the set lighting and the clarity is uncanny and cannot be described using words- without using any 3D features, the display has depth I have never experienced- movies that I had seen on our other Samsung HDTVs ( like Gladiator) were as I had never seen them before- you have to see it to believe it- it truly takes getting used to-
what a pleasure to watch!

no competition this is the best tv out right now. only thing better isnt coming out until next year when oled is released. if you want the best tv then this is it. i wouldnt buy anything besides a samsung tv.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

this thing is amazing stuff jumps out at me and i actually jump. unlike LG and Sony's 3d tv that i think look blurry

All Features are Good Except...

I owned this TV for more than 5 months. The TV And picture Clarity is really good and Beautiful Specially the clarity of 3d. All the Features provided in TV are Good Except Sound. I dont like the sound produced by TV. I purchased a Home Theater system So this solved my Problem. The 2d-3d conversion is not up to the mark. This TV is not designed to convert 2d - 3d properly but to show only 3d movies. We should not decrease the rating just for 2d - 3d conversion as this is an optional feature for TV.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: speaker system not good

Upgranding my 2 year old Samsung 40" LCD tv. Gave that to the kids. This TV is perfect. Great for gaming and love the 3D! The colors are amazing. My dad comes over and just keeps staring at it. He cannot believe the picture quality.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, 3d
