This air purifier works wonders. It does a great job at removing smoke, dust and catching the cat fur that's floating around at times. Turn it on and I notice a difference right away. I can breath a lot easier and I don't have hardly any dusting to do. I think it's great.

I was expecting great things from this unit considering the price, but I can't say my expectations have been met. Basically, this is just a big fan. The so-called "charcoal" component is actually just a piece of charcoal-colored cellulose. My previous and (much less expensive) smaller unit has an actual charcoal pack in it together with their HEPA filter. This unit did far less for my congested lungs than my previous unit. My honest opinion is 'save your money". There are better, less expensive, buys out there that actually do what they claim.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought 3 of these for my grand children's homes for Christmas presents. I had no idea how thrilled they would be. Now all the great grand kids want one for their bedrooms, so I guess that means that I will need 7 more sometime this next year. I like the smaller unit for bedrooms but I really can't do without the 5 large units I bought several years ago. I am so glad that I took the name of the air machine that was in my Allergist office.

bought the unit a couple of months ago. works great, is a little nosey on high, but I wear hearing aids, usually set it on 3 and have good results here.

Buttons stopped working.Only changed speed approx. 10 times in a year.Good filtering and relatively quiet.
