I RESEARCHED AND COMPARED FEATURES AND PICTURE QUALITY OF THIS PRODUCT AGAINST THE OTHER TOP NAMES AND THIS TV BLOWS THEM ALL AWAY.

I love my tv, but the only issue I truly have with it is the fact that the HDMI ports don't work on command like they are suppose to. I will have to turn the tv off pull the cables out and put them back in then turn the tv back on and let it load completely before I turn anything else on just to get them to work when they fail. Still haven't figured out if it is a hardware or software issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Man I have enjoyed TV more the last month than ever......Samsung hit it out of the park with this one. Even the factory speakers are not as bad as I had imagined....They do not sound too bad in a small to medium sized room... You will be disappointed if you do not have HD Programing though because this tv is so big and so clear that non HD channels look a little pixely....Thank goodness I have mostly HD programing. Full internet with a keyboard would be nice Samsung....the internet apps are worthless without a keyboard,,,,,no one wants to type searches into You Tube with the TV Remote, It is almost like Texting 7-8 years ago. With that said Net-flix is great with instant cause I can Q it on my laptop and then there it is on the TV. :) Oh yeah 3-D is cool too. I have the BD 6900 with the shrek starter kit.

Nearly 1 month of ownership. I bought this as a 3-D package special with a Samsung 3D Blu ray player, and a Shrek 3D box set/ pair of 3D glasses. I really wasn't convinced on the 3-D fad and that it felt that this new technology was being pushed aggressively into the market. When comparing side to side with other LED LCD and plasma units at this price range, the decision on choosing the Samsung 7000 series was easy. Just comparing the clarity and vivid colors was incredible. I didn't see any significant differences with the Samsung 8000 series to spend more $. Movies now seem so real that they look more like a theater production. Details are amazing from all angles and blacks are very dark. I connected the Blu ray with HDMI directly to the TV and digital audio to my reciever. This way i could still watch movies in 3D and hear it on surround sound without having to buy an amplifier that is 3D compatible. The TV and Blu ray work in sync and setup is very easy. I hard wired both with the internet and mainly listen to Pandora app and watch movies on Netflix app. It has plenty of apps to rent HD movies as well. The other impressive feature that Samsung sold me on was that I am able to convert a 2D signal to a pseudo- 3D image (with depth!). Pricey, but worth the long term investment. No regrets. My wife loves it.

Cons: reflection in screen, limited apps

I bought this TV 3 months ago... And Wow... All the reviews that I have read are NOT able to do justice for what this TV can do. Just watching Air TV shows are Great. The sound is Great and for the pictuer, Well, all I can say is WOW... The pictuer is to surreal. It will take time for you to get use to it. But it is all worth it. And for the lights coming from the four corners of the TV. They are just there when it is a black back ground or the TV has a Black screen. It does not bother me or my family. This TV is GREAT, I love it... And all I can say for All of the other thing people are talking BAD about this TV or are taking the TV back... *8^@!)-=# Thats All... And a BIG Thank You to Samsung... I will be a samsung fan for life...

This TV is incredible...as long as you're subscribed to HD service with your provider. If you're not the picture will make you want to return the TV. Movies are real-like especially when paired with BD player. I'd never seen Avatar look so AWESOME! The colors came off of the screen in 2-D. This TV is a must; I haven't even tried the 3-D side yet and am in love.

i bought this tv last fall and love everything about it. i had a couple of problems with the picture but they came out and replaced the mother board and fixed the problem. the only thing i find wrong with samsung is that they buy the rights to 3d blu ray movies and the only way to get these movies is to buy their 3d glasses starter packs, i think since we spend our hard earn cash on their product we should be able to buy from samsung these movies so that we can enjoy these 3d tv's. becuase of this i will not be buying their products again or if my tv messes up again i will be taking this tv back to the store and replacing it with another tv which doesnt support this type of stuff.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: samsung buying the rights to 3d movies
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
