Great Smaller Phone!

First of all, I thought this was only released through the U.K and was upset but when AT@T got the phone I had to have it! Its nice and small and compact. The build is like no other. Samsung has really stepped it up on design on this phone(even though they do well on design on all of their phones). The AMOLED display is beautiful! Watching movies to youtube you can see the display pop! I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone who wants that smaller phone that doesn't involve fruit.... Great job guys on this phone. Spectacular!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Camera Issues

Unfortunately I had to send it back the to service center. The camera didn't work randomly, i guess it's because of the AT&T bloatware. Hopefully the guys over there can figure it out and fix it. I like the phone a lot, except the camera bug.

Better Than Expected

I purchased this phone for my mother-in-law who was upgrading from a Galaxy SII. Due to her aging eyes she needed a fairly large screen without getting into the 5 inch and larger phones. The 4.7 inch screen worked great. The best part of the phone is the "easy" setting that allowed me to set the phone up for her and remove apps and other items that would have confused her even more. After using the phone for a few days, she is extremely happy with the phone both function and performance. The display is outstanding, it's quick, no lag at all, pictures are pretty good (limited use so far). Overall, I'm impressed with the phone. It's a 10 for her!

Perfect Phone

I purchased Samsung Galaxy Alpha because I was looking for smaller phone with good hardware. Alpha is it. 4.7 inch 720P screen is just what I'm used to. Screen size is perfect for one hand use even with small hands. Design of the phone is very nice and is nothing like previous Samsung phones. It has metal band around the phone which looks really nice and gives the phone sturdy feel. Phone is very thin and lightweight. Good fast Snapdragon 801 with Adreno 330 GPU make everyday tasks and gaming outstanding and lag free. Camera is fast and takes sharp pictures if you know how to use it. Even though battery is smaller it lasts all day due to 4.7 inch 720p screen, and if you really need to stretch the use you always have power saving and Ultra power saving modes. I would definitely recommend this phone for anyone looking for smaller sized factor and top notch internals.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha - Nice looks and size, poor battery life

Like the phone - but dissappointed with the battery life. If you leave features like GPS, wi-fi and Bluetooth on, the battery drains in a hurry.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: poor battery life

This Galaxy Alpha has become my first and best phone. I have had experiences with older Samsung phones, so I know quite a bit of how far Samsung has come. The design is spectacular, something that has not been seen, and it definitely is better. So far, I have had this phone for 2 weeks, and it has not frozen, not once. The internal memory of 32 GB keeps this phone running super smooth. Not to mention the octa-core performance, where the real games can be played with ease. 5 out of 5 stars for this spectacular phone. I have recommended it to 5 of my friends already.
