I have dropped my galaxy alpha quite a few times and to this day it works like new
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, perfect size
Cons: no micro sd card slot
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone has worked for what I need it for. Texting calling. The phone does start to freeze up a lot once you have alot of photos and music on it. I wish the phone was bigger and easier to find cases for. The camera doesn't have very good quality though. But like I said it works for what I need it for. I have also dropped this phone countless times even on concrete and the screen has never broke so that amazed me!
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations

Nice phone - great for my small hands

I have been shopping for a smaller phone - I have small hands and most phones these days are just too uncomfortable for me to hold. The phone is very slim so fits well in my purse or pocket.
Although I'm still getting to know the phone, so far I find it to be very responsive and fast. It doesn't have a lot of the features I loved about my HTC Vivid, but it does have some features the Vivid didn't have.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, small size, type-ahead works nicely, battery lasts pretty well
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no sd card - no expandable memory, it goes to sleep much too fast. i don't know wher, an't control the notification sounds - my vivid w, only 3 screens the vivid had 4, no 'favorites' widget - i used to use this on one, can't figure out where my pictures and music are s

There are some good things I would say there are about this phone. It has just as many features as the Samsung Galaxy S5. Which I enjoy, as well as being smaller than the S5. It is very compact and lightweight. A bad thing I would say which isn't that bad is protection for the phone. The galaxy alpha seems like it isn't well known so there aren't that many screen protectors or phone cases for them. I had to order mine online, because the caseschool provideso by my service provider did not seem like it would protect it.

The only problem I have with the phone is that after 9 months of using it, the screen blacked out. But other than that, it's a good phone. The battery life is excellent. And it's durable.
