Disappointed at discontinuation

Your FAQs specifically states not to use other cloths, so it's OK now? “Swiffer Steam Pads have been specifically designed to fit the SteamBoost. Do not use any other refill pads with this product.”
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out to share your feedback with us, please know that decisions to discontinue products or introduce new ones are thought out very carefully. We understand loyal users like you may not be happy when one of your favorite products is gone, and we’re sorry about that. You can use the Swiffer Wet cloths on the Swiffer Bissell Steamboost, but you might want to squeeze out some of the excess solution before use, as the Steamboost device will add liquid to it. The Steamboost mop head is also slightly larger than the Swiffer Sweeper, so you may need to stretch the cloth a bit to get it into the grippers. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800) 214-8734!

Alternatives for WET cleaning

I noticed that the pads have been discontinued and that is horrible. Waste of money as there is no use for the product. I have seen your suggestions of using the swiffer cloths but they are all for DRY conditions. I need to use this as a mop. What alternatives can I use as mop.

We apologize for any confusion, we recommend the base Swiffer Wet cloths on the Swiffer Bissell Steamboost rather than our Dry sweeping cloths. You may want to squeeze out some of the excess solution before use, as the Steamboost device will add liquid to it. It may also help to know the Steamboost mop head is slightly larger than Swiffer Sweeper, so you may need to stretch the cloths a bit to get them into the grippers. If you have any other questions, please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 and wed be happy to help further!

Very disappointed in pad refill being discontinued

I have 2 swiffer steamboost mops and now I cannot find refill pads for either of them. That is terrible! You should continue to manufacture pad refills since the mops were sold very recently. I will never recommend your products because of this.

We’re glad you reached out, Sue! While we did continue making the Steamboost pads after the device was discontinued in early 2019, we now recommend you use the base Swiffer Wet cloths on the Swiffer Bissell Steamboost. It may help to squeeze out some of the excess solution before use, as the Steamboost device will add liquid to it. The Steamboost mop head is slightly larger than Swiffer Sweeper, so you may need to stretch the cloths a bit to get them into the grippers as well. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (800) 214-8734!

We have good news! While we did discontinue the Steamboost specific pads, you can use the base Swiffer Wet cloths on the Swiffer Bissell Steamboost. It may help to squeeze out some of the excess solution before use, as the Steamboost device will add liquid to it. The Steamboost mop head is slightly larger than Swiffer Sweeper, so you may need to stretch the cloths a bit to get them into the grippers as well. If you have any questions about the pads, please give us a call at (800) 214-8734! If you’d like more information on your device itself, we encourage you to reach out to our friends, the manufacturers, at 1-800-611-2583 or via their website: https://support.bissell.com/app/contact

Disappointment and Angry

I have Swiffer Bissell Steam Mop, which I have used for 6 years on my ceramic tile floors. I was shocked to find out that Swiffer has discontinued making the Steamboost cleaning pads! It states not to use another cleaning pad! Now, I have a product I can no longer use, what a waste of my money. P&G should start to make the item, again!

Please know your feedback is important to us, and we’ll make sure your comments are heard by our team. In the meantime, we want you to know you can use the base Swiffer Wet cloths on the Swiffer Bissell Steamboost. WHY IS THIS DISCONTINUED?!

After a few years my swiffer steamboost mop finally broke down...I'm not disappointed that was my most used and loved house cleaning tool for flooring. Just replaced it with a brand new one and I am floored to learn that the pads have been discontinued with no replacement in sight?! This is really discouraging...this cleans worlds better than any other swiffer product on your line.

We don’t want you to be discouraged from getting a great clean with your Steamboost! We recommend our Swiffer Wet cloths, though you may want to squeeze out some of the excess solution before using them, as the Steamboost device will add more liquid to it. The Steamboost mop head is also slightly larger than Swiffer Sweeper, so you may need to stretch the cloths a bit to get them into the grippers. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at (800) 214-8734!

I have not been able to find the Steamboost refills in any store so decided to try buying online. Now I find out they are discontinued. What's with this? Now we all have your product which we cannot use. What does the company say to excuse this action?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
