Cleans better...but not 100%

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the swifter wet jet to clean the kitchen, dining, and bathroom floors. My floors are all finished hardwood. They show dirt, dust and everything like crazy. I was excited to give this a try. I have a one year old who loves to feed herself and the floor during meal times. I noticed that this does help with the sticky messes but it does take some elbow grease. I was hoping that this product would make cleaning a bit easier. My wife gave it a try who is 6 months pregnant and she was hunched over trying to scrub out some spots with the wet jet. This product is good for in between cleanings but something with a heat/steam would be good for an actual deep cleaning. Overall I would recommend. This will come in handy for the quick cleanings when everyone is over for the holidays.

New & Improved Swiffer Wet Jet and Pads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My picture shows my old version of the Swiffer Wet Jet. I show this to say how much better the new version is. The handle (silver rod) is now completely contained in the middle of the mop. The new mop no longer has a scrubbing pad on the front which is a huge improvement. The old scrubbing pad got so dirty and I could never find replacements. It was also awkward to turn the mop over and use it in a backwards sort of way to get at the tough spots to clean. Improving the Wet Jet pads with a Mr. Clean tough strip in the middle is a MUCH better way to go.

First time using Swifter Wet Jet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Swifter Wet Jet is terrific. I usually use a traditional foam mop top to clean my floors in the house. So when I decided to use the Swifter Wet Jet for the first time I was a little surprised by a few things.
1. Easy to assemble

Hard to reach areas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd want to know how safe the liquid was before I bought it because I have a young baby who licks and plays on my kitchen and hardwood floors.
Something I liked about the swiffer wet jet was the easy rotation of the pad area. It helps getting the hard to reach areas. The little scrub on the wet jet is great for scraping things that need a little more work.
My baby seems to find the stickiest things stuck to my kitchen floor. The wet jet was perfect for doing an easy clean up without me having to bend down and scrape at it.

I was ready to go within a minute of taking it out of the box. The cleaning fluid goes a long way and comes in a generously- sized bottle that just pops right in or out, We Love How Well It Pick Up All The Dust , Dirt & Even The Cat Litter. We Will Definaletly Be Purchasing Refill Cleaner & Refill #WetJetExtraPowerRefills. We Also Shared It With Friends & Family , Showed Them How Clean Our Floors Are, And The Best Part Of It Is That Their Was No Ringing Out Dirty Mop Heads Or Rinsing Them Or Having To Fill Buckets & Change The Water All The Time, SwifferwetJetStarterKit Is Very Convenient & Does Amazing Work On Our Floors . Swiffer Wet Jet review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Swiffer Wet Jet package and opened it. It was relatively easy to assemble it although the instructions are really not detailed enough for my liking. I installed the batteries that came with it after finally figuring out where they go. The pads are easy to deal with, they just "stick on." I then decided to give it a try.
I was not greatly impressed with it. I realized right away the right sprayer sprays at least four inches, whereas the left sprayer didn't spray at all. Also, the bottle kept popping out. I tried turning the bottle of cleaning fluid around and pushed it back into place. That helped - I must have inserted the bottle the wrong way. At this point, both sprayers were squirting fluid out.
Since our floors are all manufactured hardwood and vinyl tile, both of which are not supposed to be cleaned with anything than a water based solution, I tried the Swiffer in our showers and on the outdoor patio rug. It did a reasonable job of picking up dirt based on the amount that was on the pad. However, I could tell that I would go through a lot of pads if I used it on a regular basis.
The Swiffer worked reasonably well. It was easy to maneuver and it was not too heavy or bulky when using it. I could easily get around the furniture and potted plants on the patio. However, I would not use it for a larger area because it would not be cost effective to frequently buy new pads. I will continue to use it for small areas.

Wood Floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very hesitant to use this product on my wood floors. But after reading the labels and testing a small area, it turned out that it was the easiest way to clean the floors. Although there were some benefits and draw backs from the unit.
Pros: Easy to use, easy to maneuver and easy to transport.
Cons: Location of the liquid makes it difficult to get far under hard to reach places. The amount of Liquid dispersed is probably a little more than necessary. Once the pads are used for a little, and get wet they are difficult to keep on the bottom of the Velcro.
Although, my con list looks longer than the pros, the cons are made up mostly of things that you can get used to after a use or two. Very good product.
