Mopping My Floors is a Breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved how easy this product was to use by everyone from my senior mom to my six-year-old niece. I found it much more appealing and quicker to use than dragging out my mop and bucket. I loved the convenience of being able to have the cleaning solution on board the unit and being able to throw the soiled pads away after use. I found the Swiffer Mop to be a sturdy well made solid cleaning tool that I expect to last for some time.
The PROs I experienced with this product were:
*Easy to assemble
*Pads are absorbent and held dirt and grime without depositing it back onto floor
*Cleaning solution has pleasant and clean smelling aroma and was very effective in removing grime and stains with little effort and also dried very quickly
*The Swiffer is very lightweight and easily maneuverable, head pivots to get under furniture and cupboards
*Dual nozzle sprayer covered a wide area
The CONs I experienced with this product were:
*The front of the cleaning pad got soiled quicker that the back so when it was dirty I had to flip it around to continue cleaning. I didn't really like touching the dirty pad but I didn't want to waste the other half of the pad.
*The scrubbing strip wasn't really that effective. It wasn't abrasive enough to make any kind of difference on a mystery sticky spot on the floor.
*The cleaning solution worked better on different surfaces than others. Laminate and wood were both left with a clean and shiny surface. Ceramic tile was clean and left with a shiny surface. Porcelain tiles were clean but left with a residue which caused floor to appear cloudy and dull. I used vinegar and water solution with a clean pad to restore the clean shiny surface. I tried it again and got the same result on a different day.
*Cleaning solution bottle is non-refillable
Overall, I would rate the Swiffer Wet Jet an excellent product that will save you time and effort in accomplishing a task we all have to do but probably put off. With this mop it makes the job simple, effortless and cleanup is a breeze.

A must for every home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must have in your home! This was an easy to assemble and ready to use mop! I loved having this on hand to mop up a quick mess or spill! The swifter wetjet really did the job and quickly cleaned up any mess! I would highly recommend this product for anyone!

Good for light cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Wet Jet Starter Kit is a convenient and practical device. It's always ready to go and operator tasks like changing spent batteries and emptying the solution cartridge are fairly simple to do. The solution scent is bright and fresh and didn't leave any overbearing after odors.
Initially , I had some issues with keeping the cleaning pad attached until I realized that the I didn't have it positioned properly. It needs to be centered just so to ensure that it remains securely attached.
I'm not sure I would consider this a "deep cleaning" device. The deep downward pressure one needs to exert in order to remove stains and dried spills seems a little much for the design. The Swiffer Wet Jet for me is more of a quick lite cleaner to be used between times of a more thorough and deeper cleaning.

Easy peasy clean floors

The Answer to my Full House of Tile!!!!

I have tried the Shark steam mop - hated it - it just pushed the dirt around and left a gross film--- so I have been old fashioned mopping it for almost a year. I got this Swiffer Wet Jet, and decided to give it a go-- it was SUPER easy to put together - push the bottle into the dispenser (don't even have to open the bottle!! No mess!) The the cleaning pads just stick right to the swiffer - no need to worry about them falling off or ripping--- I did my WHOLE house in less than 35 minutes -- that included scrubbing some of the high traffic areas.... using only ONE pad for the whole place!! I was AMAZED! It left NO residue on my floors, which is easily spotted by all the natural light in my home, and my house smelled so clean, so fresh! Even my husband was extremely impressed! And!!! After cleaning the floor, there was barely a dent in the bottle of cleaner! It will last a long time! I may actually mop my floors more often now! Super Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my campaign box… I opened it up and I got a full size stiffer wet jet mop starter kit PLUS a full size package of the Extra Power cleaning pads. Overall very easy to assemble… I wish the instructions gave better and easier to understand instructions. Like step 1… picture….step 2 picture… etc. I wish this had its own panel and was bigger… it was difficult for me to find this section. but I could figure it out ! Overall super easy to assemble and cleans really well :)

Really locks in the dirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know products can say they lock stuff in but the Swiffer WetJet Floor Spray Mop truly does lock dirt in. The mop glides easily across the floor and cleans great. The spray action gives a nice even spray and does not over saturate the floor. The pad has a scrubber on the bottom for the tough spot. As you can see from the back of the pad it absorbs the dirt deep into the pad so you are not spreading dirt around on the floor so you are always cleaning and not spreading dirt. The Velcro on the back (shown) is what holds the pad onto the mop

Better than ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use all swifter products. The duster, sweeper and sweeper wet but stopped using the wetjet over 10 years ago because it leaked. I have only used the new one I got a couple times but seems way better. It is what I expect from the Swifter brand. No leaks just clean.
