wont do what is advertised malfuctions after 2 use

I would stay far away from the jet mop and power jet mop. When 4 batteries were replaced with 2 the pump gave out after 2-3 uses. This happened 4 times and is a common problem. Swiffer kept replacing the defective item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If either of these devices aren't dispensing as they should, we suggest replacing all the batteries with fresh AA alkaline ones that come from the same pack. You can check to see that the solution bottle is fully inserted and isn't empty, and you're welcome to gently brush the nozzles to help loosen any clogs that may have formed. My swiffer works 1 out of 4 times. The batteries are new and the tank is on the right place. and it still doesn't work.

The worst product I’ve ever Bought. I had to replace it twice now. I only cleaned this and it’s such a waste of money.

We want you to know our products are thoroughly evaluated to ensure they help you clean with ease, so this is not something we'd expect to see. To help stop leakage, we recommend you remove the solution bottle and keep it upside down for a moment (with the cap pointing towards the ground). If the bottle drips, the clear rubber seal is damaged, and the refill will need to be replaced.

The one time period I really NEEDED it and it fails miserably and stops working all together to include shooting the sprayer sprout across the room!

Cleans the dirt but leaves a sticky residue

Not very happy with this product. I buy the brand name pads and cleaner and yet my floors always stay sticky - leaving me to have to re-mop them with an actually mop… making double the work. It picks up dirt yes but the solutions leaves the floors sticky and feeling unclean. Time and time again I’ve tried and it never fails to leave a sticky residue.

Do not use Swiffer Wet cloths or the Swiffer WetJet on unfinished, oiled or waxed wooden floors, non-sealed tiles, or carpet. If it is suitable, for best results, sweep or vacuum your floor before using Swiffer Wet cloths or the Swiffer WetJet. Also be sure to always:

* leave the solution on the floor for 10 to 15 seconds before mopping.

This product has a very short lifespan.

I have bought 3 of these and every one of them have had switch or some electrical problems that cause them to not spray. I have a supply of the fluids and pads that I will use by pouring the swiffer fluid into a spray bottle and use until it is gone. The pads I can give to some other poor soul that has one swiffer wetjet that still works.
Then I will be on the hunt for another brand to buy.

*Double-check to ensure all the pole pieces have snapped together properly during assembly.
*Make sure the arrow printed on the bottle label is against the pole or that the narrow side of the bottle is against the pole.
*Your Swiffer WetJet may need priming. Hold the button on the handle for several seconds until spray comes out of the nozzles. You may need to squeeze the solution bottle gently while pressing the spraying button.
*The nozzles could be clogged. Brushing them gently might help them to start spraying.

Not a good buy!

I really like the way the Wet Jet operates. It cleans well and is convenient to use.
HOWEVER, I have had three Wet Jet mops and each last ed one year or less! Seems expensive and wasteful. Very disappointed with the reliability of my Wet Jets. I have always used only the Wet Jet cleaning fluid in my mops.

The go to mop

I have been using this mop for years and couldn’t be more pleased with it. I just bought the new model a few days ago. And it’s awful. The pad doesn’t clean like this one. The head of the mop is so much bigger that it’s hard to get all those smaller spaces. This one is perfect for that. And the new formula of the cleaning spray for new mop is horrible!! Ive been nauseous with headaches for a day and I mopped it 2 days ago.The cleaner for this one seems to still be the same formula. So sorta confused why there are 2 different formulas. I’m really hoping the new mop doesn’t mean this one will be discontinued. Because this one is sold in every way.
