Swiffer wet jet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my free swiffer wet jet from BzzAgent and I couldn't wait to try it out! I live in ny and as you may have heard space is small so I thought this wet jet would be perfect.

Cons
Having to replace batteries gets expensive
Having to use disposable sheets is expensive
Having to only use their soap in their special container is expensive

Even though the initial purchase of the swiffer wet jet is affordable I feel like in the long run it's very expensive
I like a mop that has reusable cloth it saves me a lot of money when I can wash it between uses
I don't really understand why it needs to have batteries and that in order to use the soap you have to hold it down with all that work they might as well have a trigger like a spray bottle that doesn't take batteries and the soap... why can't I put my own soap
With all those cons unless you live in a tiny apartment you'll be spending a lot of $$$$$
I actually own a wet spray mop from a different company that uses reusable cloth, doesn't take batteries the spray comes out of the bottom but u just squeeze a trigger like a normal spray bottle and the soap comes out and to top it off I can make my own soap and refill the refillable container so because of that I don't think I would recommend the swiffer wet jet I only gave it two stars because it does what it says it should do

Squeaky Clean Floors in seconds!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I'm one of the only few who has never used a Swiffer Wet Jet before. Yes, I know it's a bit like still owning a blackberry.
I was really skeptical before I used the product. I currently use a steamer on my floors so I just couldn't fathom the Swiffer Wet Jet would hold up. Boy was I wrong. Firstly, it's super easy to put together and you're on your way. You just insert the batteries (which Swiffer graciously provides), insert the liquid cleaner bottle, attach the pad on the bottom, and viola you're ready for business.
So my first mission was to clean my entry way. It's in between two set of stairs and I hate using anything corded to clean it with. So in comes the Swiffer Wet Jet. Within seconds the floor was spotless! No dirt or anything. Seconds! Then I decided I wanted to clean the tile around my wood stove. The tile always has soot and extra ashes that I try to sweep up but there is always still a bit left. Wow, what a difference that made. I am truly impressed with Swiffer Wet Jet. You just push the trigger and the pad absorbs all the liquid up, nothing is pushed around. It doesn't spread around mud or anything else. Everything is absorbed.
I will continue to use this again and again and I'm truly a Swiffer Wet Jet convert.
Attached is a photo of the pad after cleaning up around my wood stove. Love it !!

Easy, Fresh, Clean!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of my Swiffer Wet Jet!! Having a large home, there are a ton of floors to be vacuumed, swept and mopped. It was a chore I detested....drag out the broom, dustpan, then mop and bucket...Yuk!
With my Wet Jet, it's a simple one step job, and my floors are clean. And the solution leaves my home smelling fresh and clean! My floors are glistening, home smells nice (without any overpowering flowery perfume), it just looks and smells CLEAN!
And any sudden messes are a cinch to clean up! WetJet to the rescue, and in just a minute the messes are all gone.
With my Wet Jet, it's a simple one step job, and my floors are clean. And the solution leaves my home smelling fresh and clean! My floors are glistening, home smells nice (without any overpowering flowery perfume), it just looks and smells CLEAN!

Sparkly clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like a clean home but hate to haul out a mop and bucket. The mop water gets so dirty that it seems as if the floor is being washed with dirty water, which completely defeats the purpose. I have used a few swiffer products but never this one. I am here to tell you that I have fallen in love. I don't ever have to worry about dirty mop water again. It worked beautifully on both my ceramic tile and my wood, which is miraculous in itself. It has not only done a fabulous job cleaning my floors, it has cut my cleaning time in half. I love love love the Swiffer Wet Jet floor cleaning system.

Definitely an improvement over previous models

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the previous Swiffer WetJet model and this is a significant improvement. This one is a lot more lightweight, so it's easier to manipulate. This makes cleaning the whole house A LOT faster. The jets have also gotten better (better technology perhaps?) so the cleaning fluid spreads faster and more evenly.

Better than a mop!

It got my floors beautifully clean, and clean-up afterwards was as simple as removing the pad. I love this product, and will highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Must have for any hard surface floor

I have hardwood floors and a lot of traffic, I mop 2-3 times a week to get up sticky juice spills and just basic traffic dirt. I grabbed the wetjet and went to work just 2 days after steam mopping. I had dried juice spills that the wet jet powered thru with no problem, and that blue strip helped do the scrubbing and obviously picked up a lot of dirt from in and out. The scent of the cleaner was so nice and smelled so clean! I love this product and will be a must have for me from here on out!
