I love this thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have laminated hardwood floors. Keeping them clean with kids and 2 small dogs is not easy. With laminated hardwood you can't mop, you can only use a slightly damp terrycloth mop. With the swiffer wet jet I'm able to keep my floors clean and that makes me happy. I recommend this to anyone, it makes moping a quick and easy chore with no dirty mops or mop buckets.

Made More of a Mess!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I've used a Swiffer Wet Jet Kit, and I was able to try if for free because of the BzzAgent Swiffer Campaign that I was invited to. I have laminate floors, and I typically use a floor-cleaning solution and a reusable microfiber pad on a stick mop. From the Swiffer commercials, I felt like I would love it, but I found it hard to assemble. The instruction pamphlet (like most instruction pamphlets) was lacking in details and clear illustrations. I think that manufacturers really miss the mark on giving the proper instructions with illustrations. Honestly, I would love to have a job at writing or illustrating manuals. I think that companies need to keep in mind that people like me who've never used their products need more than a vague set of instructions or illustration. I'm pretty intuitive, and I persisted until things finally worked. I almost gave up the assembly process several times. I found the bottle insertion almost impossible, but I finally just pressed a button and it clicked in. Again, if I weren't intuitive and had I purchased this at a store, I would have just boxed everything back up and returned the product.
I will write a different review of how the mop worked, but what really upset me (as shown in the photo) was that I leaned the mop handle up against my counter, and the weight of the bottle made the entire mop fall over ... taking with it an orchid plant that I had watered and rested on the counter. The force and weight of the mop tossed the plant to the opposite counter. I had to vacuum and clean up the mess .. ugh! I never have had a mop fall over like this. I'm so glad that I didn't have glass objects on the counter! It's bad enough that I had to clean up a just-cleaned floor, but to have a mop topple over and dump things on the floor and rug like this was maddening.
The scent of the product is a bit too pervasive and overwhelming. I mopped several hours ago, and I have a bit of a headache from the strong scent. It's not unpleasant, but it's too strong.
I had to use the stick/microfiber pad to sop up excess fluid, and my light didn't work.

Decent product for the convenience of an adequate quick clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a convenient way to wipe down floors then the Swiffer WetJet does a decent job. It's easy to use and the clean-up is simple- just remove and throw away the disposable cleaning pad. The spray feature is simply okay but not far-reaching. You won't get a thorough clean with the Swiffer WetJet. But it's a handy product for wiping up messes in between giving your floors a good scrub down.

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to put together & even easier to use. It cleans tile very easily and quickly and leaves the room smelling great! I also love the disposable pads as well. They may be disposable but they last a while - I am able to do my entire house with just one.

Swifter Wet Jet Starter Kit is a lifesaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 dogs that shed & track stuff in our house constantly. The swifter wet jet starter kit was a lifesaver for me !! It was very easy to assemble it only took me 10 minutes till I was using it on my kitchen floor. I like the smell of the liquid it gave my house a fresh smell. The handle was ergonomic & I love not having a cord get it my way while cleaning the floors. I was amazed at the scrubbing capabilities of this product , I thought my floors weren't so dirty but after seeing the dirt on the pads I knew better. I will definitely use swifter wet jet regularly on my floors.

My Favorite!

I am actually out of the fluid right now and can't wait to get to the market to buy some more! I have a tile floor in my kitchen. The swiffer wet jet cleans incredibly well and smells so good! It's great in the bathrooms too. It not only cleans the floor but it picks up dirt too and it's so easy to use. The pads just stick on with no effort and absorb so much! I would be so upset if I didn't have this mop anymore! Oh yes, I use it on my hardwood floor too!!!

Swiffer Wet Jet mad cleaning simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy to have the Swiffer Wet Jet as I was cleaning my house to host a party for about 50 people. I used it on hardwood floors and bathroom tiles.
We just bought a house with lots of hardwood and three stories so there was a lot to clean.

My only complaints are 1) the cleaning solution has a very strong/powerful fragrance. It does make your home smell clean but it was somewhat overpowering. 2) I used the regular Swiffer pads, I did have to change the pads a few times as they started to get oversaturated with cleaning solution and start to disintegrate (almost like an oversaturated diaper). I started noticing white stuff on the floors and that was when I realized the pad was coming apart.
Other that that, I like how quick and simple it was to clean my floors with the Swiffer Wet Jet. It is easier than a regular mop that just pushes dirty water around and getting on my hands and knees and scrubbing the floors. It is also very lightweight and portable, which I found helpful when cleaning the basement, first floor and second floor of my house.
