Great for tile floors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year, we replaced our carpet with woodlike tile throughout our house. Since then, I've noticed just how dusty and dirty the floor would get with the dark tile.
We have a Roomba that runs daily. I have a floor steamer, as well, but I only use it on a monthly basis. I wanted something that I can use to clean the floors weekly or with spills since I have young children.
The WetJet definitely fits the bill! It's so easy to use that our three year old likes to help out with it!
I really like the scent, too.
The only problem I have with it is the button to spray the solution. I tend to hit it on accident...more than I want to. I would like it if it wasn't on the top of the mop. I feel like it wouldn't get bumped accidentally if it was like a trigger under the handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mop. I am reviewing both the starter kit and the power refill. The start kit I received came with the mop, the cleaning pads, the cleaning solution and batteries. Everything you need for a super clean floor all in one package. The mop was easy to put together, the cleaning pads attach by a simple Velcro method. Once together, all you need to do is push the button to release the solution and begin to mop.
The extra power refill, is a tougher pad that eats away at dirt and grime. You can really tell that this works when you don't have to kill your arms while moping.

Not as good as I hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer wet jet cleans slightly better than the Swiffer damp mop. The problems we encountered were: 1. The, not adjustable, handle is too long for my wife to use comfortably. She's only 5' tall.
2. The spray is too far in front of the cleaning pad. It's hard to get it just where you want it.
3. We have a tile floor. The spray collects in the grout between the tiles and does not get picked up or spread around by the pad.
Also, we could have used more detailed instructions on how to attach the pad.

Prefer to hand wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a fairly easy assembly I was excited to try the Wet Jet Extra Power Mop. I set out to my back hallway, which is the highest traffic area. I first swept then vacuumed, then got to work with the Swiffer Wet Jet. Now I normally hand wash the floors so I started in the corner. Big mistake because I sprayed a large concentration of cleaning solution in a hard to reach area for the mop. I felt like I was twisting and turning to get the mop in the corner. Then, because I was really trying to scrub, I kept accidentally hitting the spray button. I became frustrated, grabbed a rag and wiped away all the excess cleaning solution. I learned my lesson and went to a larger space, sprayed then mopped. I felt like I was pushing a piece of paper around the floor. I picked it up expecting the pad to be dark with dirt, but no such luck. I again came through with a rag and had a much better result. In conclusion, I was not impressed with the power or cleaning ability of the mop, but I do think the cleaning solution did a decent job...as long as I hand washed with a rag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my swifter wet jet last night and put it together, it was very easy assembly. I used it on my kitchen floor and it just traps dirt and grime. The pads are the key, they just stick on and the two sticky strips running along the bottom just trap dirt, and you don't even need to much cleaning solution!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is good for any duty floor cleaning. It is perfect for everyday jobs, quick touch ups and things like that. The starter kit comes with everything you need besides batteries. It is easy to assemble, it took me about 5 minutes and I was ready to go. When attaching the pad to the wet jet you have to make sure you line up the Velcro strips to the bottom of the mop. If not it will fall off while you are mopping. You also have to sweep really well. Especially in the corners and sides of the walls. If not all your going to do is spread the dirt around. I love that I can just stick a pad on it and get to cleaning. I have a toddler and I can't stand dirty floors. This makes it so easy instead of getting a bucket, filling it up, moping, and then having to empty the bucket and so forth. With the wet jet all you have to do is take the pad off and throw away. What would make this wet jet even better would be washable pads and a rechargeable battery. The cleaner smells good. It would be nice to have Other than that I really have no issues with it. I wanted it for quick jobs and it does just that. It does clean my floors and leaves them shiny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The swiffer is super easy to use which I love. We have a puppy and an 8 year old that track dirt, mud etc in the house on a regular basis...quick clean ups are a snap w the swiffer wet jet. In fact, my 8 year old thinks it's fun to swiffer and asks if she can clean the floors all the time, uh bonus! I really like the easy clean up on our tile and marble floors ... the multi purpose solution comes in several scents just (make sure your floors are sealed). I don't miss the mop and bucket hussle one bit. I bought the solution for hardwood too so I could use on all our floors (though you can prob use multipurpose on all floors as well). The wet jet is easy to put together and the refill is easy to swap out (no need to finish one...you can switch back and forth). One pad cleans our eat in kitchen and bath, one more covers 2 bedrooms, foyer and living room (about 1000 sq feet). * I have a swiffer dry sweep, dusters and now the wet jet...dusting, sweeping and mopping are so simple and fast w minimal fuss....just grab, clean and store. Yay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved into a house with what seems like acres of hard wood floors! We setup the Swiffer Wet Jet and got the kids started at one end, and they blasted thru the entire house in record time. There was no residue, and the floors dried quickly, looking beautiful and new again! I would highly recommend this item to friends and family!
