Quick cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have wooden flooring and the complimentary Swiffer Wet Jet Starter kit has helped cut down on the total cleaning time. Specifically, it gets rid of the prep time. There is not much to prepare for floor cleaning at all. No having to measure soap with water in a bucket to mop like before. You just take the Swiffer Jet and press a button to spray the cleaning solution directly onto the floor before swiping it away. Easy, quick, and pretty effortless. It can be used for certain troublesome spots to clean up a mess or for overall floor cleaning. I like using this better than a regular mop.

Decent product could use a little work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the sprayer is a great feature, I think that the biggest frustration that I had was when going over the smooth floor surface some times it would halt or not glide effortlessly. I was impressed that it picks up quite a bit of dirt off the floor. It does not grab particles though. Easy enough for my younger children to use.

Why can't everything be this easy?!

I normally would use either the Bona spray and mop or the Shark Steamer, both of which I THOUGHT I actually enjoyed using but that thought is past tense and that's about describes me use of my bona and steamer. When I'd use the bona I never really felt like I was actually cleaning my floors, it felt more
like a wax to me and it has no clean scent. The steamer was just steam and also no scent. With both of those products I never truly felt like my floors were being disinfected.

I'm honestly not sure why I've never used the Swiffer Wet Jet. Maybe I didn't realize I could use it on my hard wood floors? Or that it would actually clean my floors? Either way, I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. What is more simple than sticking a pad to the mop, pushing a button to release the solution and start going to town? Nothing! It's as simple as that. And the best part of it all is how nice the solution smells. The entire house smells fresh and clean. I know my floors are getting clean too because you see the dirt right on the pad. It's actually kinda comforting knowing you're getting all that dirt off your floors.
I have 2 kids 2 dogs and a husband and I'm constantly sweeping, vacuuming and mopping my floors and I love how convenient the Swiffer Wet Jet makes it. I will never go back to the other products I've used.

Great Small Job Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been reluctant to try one of the new Wet Jets Mops, but I'm glad I gave it a try. First the Pros: The box contained everything needed to get started; mop, pads, cleaning solution, and even the batteries. The batteries were a great addition because it's so frustrating to get home with a product only to find the batteries were not included. Once the product was assembled it was easy to use. Assembly took approximately 4 minutes. The cleaning solution does not have a heavy disinfectant smell which is nice. The pads have a scrubber section which is helpful. In addition, the pads are a little larger than the device which makes them pliable so they go into the baseboards easily. I have a few indoor/outdoor rugs and thought I would see if the scrubbers would clean them and was pleased with the results. Of course, it's not like a professional cleaning.
Now the Cons: It would have made the assembly easier if the device had better markings as to where the batteries are to be placed and which direction the cleaning solution should be aligned. Not a big deal, but it would be a helpful addition to the product. My biggest con, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is the mob is a little heavy. I am a petite person and it would be hard for me to clean my entire house at one time without my arms and neck hurting. It will be great for quick clean-ups and in between heavy cleaning.
I would recommend the Wet Jet and will use the product.

Caught My Husband Using it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just sold our home and I came home to my husband using the Swiffer Wet Jet Starter Kit to clean the hardwood floors. Usually we clean them with this "special" hardwood cleaner and a cloth. It's super hard on the knees but it's supposed to work the best. After I received the Wet Jet and have been using it since I realized it was safe on our hardwood, he tried it and loved it as well. We love the smell of it, it's great on the hardwood and makes them nice and shiny. We do have to use a couple pads when cleaning because we have so much space to clean but I feel like it's worth it because it's quick, and is easier on the knees than the old way.

New way to clean floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok washed real oak hardwood floors with this on Sunday. Let's start with the easy-to-use instructions for assembly. No problems. This will not replace getting on your knees to wash the floors but it is a close second. The floors feel clean on bare feet but not slippery with socks. The fresh scent does not overwhelm the rooms. I'm 58 years old and over 6 feet tall and this product will make cleaning the floors a chore that I can do more than once a week.

My Floors Have Never Looked Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My home has both hardwood and linoleum and usually what works on one will not work on the other so cleaning can be a bit of a hassle. No more! The new Swiffer Wet Jet formula cleans both without damaging either. There are no streaks and the formula doesn't leave any sort of residue, just nice, clean floors! Color me impressed! This has made my weekly cleaning routine go by much more quickly! The WetJet was super easy to assemble and start using and I can find replacement pads and cleaning solution at most major retailers around me so it's easy to maintain to keep using. I'll definitely keep this as my weekly mopping tool!

Swiffer Wet Jet Does the Job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical as to how well this would work on my hardwood floors. After all, the manufacturer is always warning away from commercial products on the hardwoods, and up until now, we've mostly used white vinegar and water...
Most of my house has hardwood floors - including the kitchen, which arguably gets some of the hardest, messiest use a floor can have in a busy household.
I wanted to try the Swiffer Wet Jet, mostly because of the ease of using something that is already set up with an integrated system to clean floors. Convenience alone was appealing.
I can now say without hesitation that this works FINE on hardwoods. Ours are sealed with a tough finish, but still...I didn't need to worry at all about using the Wet Jet system on my beloved hardwoods.
The unit is simple to set up and use, and made cleaning up kitchen messes so easy. The cleaner is good without being too harsh, and does a very good job making the floors clean enough for any mother-in-law visiting for the holidays.
