Jets quit working after two years

I have a Swiffer wet jet and it has worked well for about 2 1/2 years, until one day it wouldn't shoot any solution out of the jets. I could hear the batteries sending the signal and the lights still worked, but no solution. I cleaned it, checked the batteries, reinstalled the cleaning solution about 20 times, attempted to clear out the tiny jets with a pin (unsuccessfully) and finally called the hotline. They had no additional suggestions to fix the problem. My guess is that over time, the line from the solution to the jets has become clogged, due to the cleaner in the solution. After reading many of the hundreds of similar complaints, it appears to be a consistent issue at about 2 years of ownership. You would think the company would design a product that allows the owner to clean the line periodically. they know this is an issue and yet, have not altered their design. Just be aware that your jet cleaner will most likely have the same problem down the line.

Worst product in the world

Used this product ONE time and it already doesn’t work. Replaced batteries and tried everything. No longer sprays. What an absolute scam

I got this as a gift and I absolutely loved it until it quit working...which wasn't long after I got it. And yes I changed the batteries.

Cheaply madr

Love the idea but it is so cheaply made that the handle separates at the slightest pressure. I am constantly have to put it back together which include the wire.

The mop doesn't last like it used to. Recent purchase lasted 3 months. Replaced batteries with two different brands still wouldn't work. No power from the motor.

The machine just stops working.

The product is great when it actually works. I am on my 3rd wet jet mop set in just 2 months. The machine works and then just stops working. I change the batteries and nothing……won’t work anymore and I have to buy a new set up. It’s getting expensive!

This product does not work

I purchased a stiffer jet to replace my old one stopped working after having it for 5 plus years. Got the new one out of the box worked three days and stopped working. So thought okay so I purchased another one it did the same. Your older one was great. The newer system does not work.

A lot of thought and research goes into the design of our products, and our products undergo many quality checks to ensure every product arrives to you in perfect condition, and will provide years of reliable use. First, be sure to double check that the parts of the handle are fully clicked together, and the handle if fully inserted into the base. If the problem is the motor is engaging when you press the dispensing button, it could be a battery issue. First, make sure the batteries are installed correctly, and the battery compartment is fully closed. You should hear a click when closing. If they are installed correctly but the WetJet isn't running when you press the button, we recommend trying fresh AA alkaline batteries (all from the same package). If the motor is running but no cleaning solution is coming out, the WetJet may need priming. Hold the button on the handle for several seconds until spray comes out of the nozzles. You may need to squeeze the solution bottle gently while pressing the spraying button. If you need any further assistance, our Swiffer Team is standing by, ready to help!
