It's OK, but the handles are prone to breakage.

I've owned 3 Wet Jets over the years. They all worked fine, but they all broke in the same fashion. The plastic handle grips all snapped where the plastic attaches to the metal pole. I've snapped two and yesterday my daughter snapped the third.

Working for only a few weeks then even with changing batteries motor is not working anymore. This is a gizmo, not for a long-lasting tool.

Doesn't keep the cleaner in the bottle, leaks.

It worked great at first, but now I have purchased 2 bottles of the cleaner, and while it's just standing in the corner, the soap stuff leaks out, leaving me with nothing to clean with, just clean up the mess it leaves on the floor. What's wrong with it?

We're sorry to hear you've had this experience with our Swiffer WetJet, as we have many checks in place to ensure our products help you clean with ease. To help stop leakage, try to remove the solution bottle and keep it upside down for a moment (with the cap pointing towards the ground). If the bottle drips, the clear rubber seal is damaged, and the refill will need to be replaced. So we can learn more about this for our Quality Team, and provide assistance, please give us a call at 1-800-214-8734.

I reached out to swiffer about a month or two after buying the wet jet mop, because I was certain it was defective. No matter what I did, it would intermittently spray solution. The other times, you just hear the motor, but nothing happens. I got the typical: "did you make sure you have batteries in it?" "Maybe try some new batteries" blah blah blah Here I am, another couple months down the road, same old crap, except now it just drizzles the solution down the side and drips all over the floor in puddles. To say I am angry is an understatement. If I have to spend money on the most expensive mop out there, plus turn around and get all their money grabbing "refills" - the least they could do is actually work!!

We're sorry to hear you've had this experience with Swiffer. We want you to know we have many checks in place to ensure all of our products get to you at their best, so this is not something we'd expect to see, and we're sorry to hear your service experience wasn't helpful. To stop leakage from your WetJet, we recommend taking off the solution bottle and holding it upside down for a moment to see if it drips. If it does, the seal is likely damaged and the bottle should be replaced. So we can gather some info for our Quality Team, and provide further assistance, please give us a call at 1-800-214-8734.

Sadly disappointed

Works great when it works. I'm on wet jet#2 and the same issue with both of them. They abruptly stop spraying. Only the motor is winding. Changed bottles and batteries still the same. Not sure if it's worth buying another one or investing in a spin mop at this point. The packaging should read "disposable wet jet good for only so many sprays".

We appreciate you reaching out about what you've been experiencing with these. If you're still hearing the motor working the nozzles could be clogged, and brushing them gently might help them to start spraying. Please give us a call Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm EST, at 1-800-742-9220 for additional assistance.

Pole connection sucks

It works well but the pole connection sucks ! It is extremely hard to disconnect. I ended up pulling hard and cut the wire that is for spray cleaner.
Response from swiffer.comBy Customer Care, March 20, 2024
We're sorry to hear that this has been your experience, as our WetJets go through strict quality checks to ensure that you can use them with ease. We'd like to mention that once the pole is fully assembled, we don't recommend trying to disconnect it, as this could lead to the cords inside breaking. If you'd like any further assistance, please give us a call at (800) 742-9220.

Unfortunately the wet jet swiffer no longer sprays. I have tried replacing the batteries, soaking the head in hot water and using a pin to unclogh the sprays. Nothing has worked.

We're sorry your Swiffer WetJet stopped working, Michelle. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results, so we don't expect these things to happen. We have a few suggestions we'd like you to try:
*Double-check to ensure all the pole pieces have snapped together properly during assembly. *Make sure the arrow printed on the bottle label is against the pole or that the narrow side of the bottle is against the pole. *Your Swiffer WetJet may need priming. Hold the button on the handle for several seconds until spray comes out of the nozzles. You may need to squeeze the solution bottle gently while pressing the spraying button.
So we can help you get back to Swiffering away, please call us at (800) 742-9220 Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
